Their own statements prove we have NOT lost !
Read the article carefully,I did .Below are their own words. It doesn't sound like they have won anything yet .

Though this year's turnout will likely be lower, organizers say immigrants feel a sense of urgency to keep immigration reform from getting pushed to the back burner by the 2008 presidential elections.

"If we don't act, then both the Democratic and Republican parties can go back to their comfort zones and do nothing," said Angelica Salas, director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. "They won't have the courage to resolve a major situation for millions of people."

No this is not lost nor will it ever be . This nation belongs to all legal Americans .Not to any illegal aliens from any where .

Nope. Every time they do one of these marches where they encourage students to walk out of school to join them, more adults get angry about it.

Add to that the morons carrying their mexican flags in MY country, and it doesn't end well for these illegals.

We need to line up the INS busses and give these people a free ride to where they are legal residents.

Straight south to whatever craphole country they oozed from.

Lol, the symbolic tree part cracks me up. No one forced them to come here illegally and put them in situations where their families might get split up. That is their own doing.

Considering that at the moment there is only one announced presidential candidate that is against amnesty in one form or another, they are unfortunately sitting pretty.

We really need to keep on our legislators, governors, and executives... keep writing letters, and don't miss a single election!

Maybe. But we have no one to blame but ourselves. We have always gotten people of color to do our dirty work.
Blacks to pick cotton, Chinese to build the railroads, and Mexicans to do the picking. It was only a matter of time before it all came back to bite us.
