Boeing and Lockheed already own the friendly sky's but had a little business stolen from it by Airbus. But now theyu arte going under and are cutting 10,000 jobs. This is a likely scenario and could happen as early as 2009. If the U.S. is tied up in other conflicts. I think we should not get involved but if we are not we should take NATO action against China. It would be like NATO vs. Warsaw Pact. I know my opinion but I want to know yours

I've been researching hemp lately, and the potential benefits are amazing. Including:

*A clean burning fuel that's cheap to produce (Hemp being a resiliant plant that's easy and fast to grow)

*A fiberboard that's 3 times stronger than the fiber board being
produced now. Could be used for housing and would eliminate using trees instead.

*Could replace cotton. Since marijuana is a resiliant plant, it's easy to grow organically, unlike cotton, which is what almost 50% of pesticide use in the country goes towards

So, why aren't we taking advantage of this?

What are the advantages to doing it? When is it not alright to do it? I hate to draw things by party line, but Republican presidents Reagan and Bush II seem to be the worst offenders. Albeit, Clinton only balanced the budget due to pressure from congress, but at least he did something.
How dangerous is our national debt? Will we be pushing wheelbarrows of Franklins to the store to do the weekly grocery shopping?

Israel has proven itself time and time again to be perfectly capable of holding it's own - is it necesary that the US hovers over the shoulder of Israel ?

Why not let them defend themselves or carry out whatever foriegn policy they will without the US ?

What is it with America that it brags Israel is thier very capable friend and then rushes in to make sure they don't get a skinned knee ?

I was watching SHOOTOUT! on the history channel about 3 months ago. They were talking about Lima company in Iraq and the valient things they have done since deployment. On one occasion, a sniper pinned down a squad on a roof top. The sniper was too accurate to risk loading a LAW launcher and exposing an elbow so one guy loads his grenade launcher, sits up, and fires at the sniper, 300 yards away, and takes him out. As a football player, I know how much 100 yards is, mutliply that by 3 and it's still not that big, as far as weapons go, yet they made it sound like Wild Bill making a shot from 500 feet with his pistol. So what IS the average distance of an M-16 mounted grenade launcher?
