Is it true that you could sue or take someone to court for them not returning any borrowed possessions? If so, then how?

lets face it we live in a democracy, but do we actually get a say, we dont write the manifesto, we just vote for which one we like best, is this democracy, we live in a society we have had to settle for because there wasn't one better, explain to me how this 'democracy' works if its not democratic.

Dear Bulgarians

We, my wife and I, are looking for Bulgarians for language exchange. My level of Bulgarian is zoro but wife's is elementary but still we need a lot of real practice as the program we used was not enough to help us in Bulgaria. We can offer you Afrikaans (me) or English (wife) in return for Bulgarian. We have Skype.

Thank you and God bless.

I was involved in a hit and run accident. My car was parked outside my apt. complex when it was hit. I called the police to have a police report done & asked the officer to go around the apt. complex insearch of the red car that hit me (their paint was all over my car where they hit it). The officer found the red car & had it towed for evidence. The officer did get the guy's contact info but, the guy got out of the hit & run penalty claiming he wasn't driving the car and wouldn't say who was but the officer told me 'that's the car that hit you'. He even got off again by saying he has car insurance but didn't show proof b/c it was in his car that was towed. I don't know how you can say you have car insurance & not show proof to a officer when it is illegal not to have car insurance. I did contact my insurance company & made a claim but they are having a hard time getting intouch with the guy that hit me. I fell like the guy that hit me will never pay for what he has done to my car.

as a Englishman i am amazed that the vast majority of humour and joshing on this site comes from Americans.Oh how i laugh when they reply to questions in such a jolly way.Believe me if you insult an American, your bound to get a witty reply rather than an aggresive one.I say we all need to chill out & be more American.

why do the government give cash to parents and let them buy processed food and unhealthy meals with it, perhaps if they were to give them vouchers for fruit and veg shops, or vouchers for health centres rather than cash then the obisity crisis in england would just sort it self out, oh and at the same time this would guarantee that the money given to parents for their children was spent on the right things so children would not be poverty stricken by some parents who seem to spend this money on cigarettes, alcahol ar other things that are not in their childrens best interest
