The Harper government lost their motion to extend the terroism bill. Will it now be open season for them to come here knowing this. I know we already have many here, but now that they know they can't be touched.

Personally I think it is a shame that all the oposition did this, it just proves that they are not fit to run a counrty when they put the rights of terrorist above us Canadians

I'm thinking about joining the military and I have seen many give their opinions on what is good about it. But I like to look at both sides of an issue. So I would like to know why I shouldn't join the military. I'm currently single and will be graduating from University next year.

Please only answer if you have served in the military.

Why is it that people like Al Gore feel they can consume enough energy to power a small city, and yet say they want us all to live in mud huts heated by solar energy and fuzzy thoughts? Al Gore has 3 mansions and one of them used $33,000 dollars to heat/cool last year. Is this yet another Al Gore lie? (remember he said he invented the internet, lol).

Pelosi wants your union votes to be open for everyone to see.

What's next? Will Nancy shoot you if you don't vote for Democrats every November?

It is currently illegal in India to use ultrasound to determine the sex of an unborn child. The concern is that families are more likely to abort female fetuses than male fetuses.

But doesn't that law "interfere with the decisions of a woman and her doctor?" Why is "the state" getting involved? Are there "Bible thumpers" there too?

Actually, if sex-selection abortion is restricted in India, China and other eastern countries, the alternative does not appear to be the "back-alley abortion," but infanticide, the swift killing of female newborns. Is this less objectionable than an illegal abortion, since the mother is not at risk, or is it worse, because the "viable fetus" is now outside the mother's body?

Don't assume you know my views. Please give me yours. Thanks.

Its clear that confusion surrounds the war ,our economy , and the general state of this once great nation .
Clearly there exists a number of problems and half the nation thinks prayer , Jesus , and a government job is the answer .
The other half feel that government should lead the way and make opportunity's available in the form of programs to aid the less fortunate among us .
One group feels Jesus is the answer and the other an injection of jobs , opportunity and tax dollars are needed .
Now clearly only one group is correct
So if it is not apathy or ambivalence then what is it that keeps America from solving its most drastic problems .
What could it be .
We know that religion provides nothing to those who have lost jobs at Ford , Chevrolet , Chrysler and other solid American jobs .
People need work that pays the bills and Bush provides nothing sustainable in this economy . Military build up is a drain ,as is the war ,on tax payers .
When will we wake and take action .

Anti-Semites can't get away with blaming Jews for killing Christ, eating babies, etc... anymore so now they have to make up lies about Israel?

And none of this nonsense that anti-Semitism involves Arabs. Anti-Semitism is understood to be anti-Jewish.

Haven't you made the Jews suffer enough?

It seems social agenda's from the christian camps have driven the process since Reagan's era. McCain and Giuliani are virtually Republican moderates who revolt from the fundamentalist right. The christian fundamentalist aren't backing any other candidate because they don't think anyone in the mix can win. Social agenda's lithmus testing does not a good President make. What say you?
