I find the ad stating 'Pres. Bush, do something about the genocide in Darfur'. very irritating. Is he supposed to do this all on his own or is it just another liberal left to blame him for everything wrong in the world. If I remember correctly the President addressed this many times but it just doesn't get off the ground. The liberal left is too consumed with partisanship to grapple with real problems.

Why do they constantly criticize w/o offering anything substantial?

(That is John Major's government for the younger readers)

They gave us:

Negative Equity
Economic Instability
Double Figure Interest Rates
Privatised the Railways
Black Wednesday
Destroyed NHS Dentistry
Slave wages
The Millennium Dome
and botched the end of Gulf War 1.

Did they do anything useful?

I try to keep an open mind, but I see a more mean-spirited, greedy, selfish attitude from the right. The left has tons of problems, but I know they care more about humanity, civil rights, the environment (the whole planet), education, and progressing as a nation and a world. They don't seem as preoccupied with money (with some noteable exceptions I'm sure).

The Tories have said their political strategy is to "go for Brown". As we get anti-Gordon Brown questions daily on Yahoo Answers, are the questioners simply the stooges of the Tory Party?

Perhaps those who disagree on political grounds could compare and contrast the achievements of Gordon Brown with the economic record of the previous Tory administration.

eat the whole bag in one sitting. when he was half way thru the bag, he got sick and started vomitting, the DI grabbed a handful of cookies and start shoving it down his throat. alot of u think i was never in the Corps but my platoon number was 2067 (second battalion) yellow t-shirts with red stripes. once, we were in second phase, ITS, a DI asked a fat recruit if he had a pic of his wife. the recruit pulled out the pic of his wife and showed it to the DI. the DI looked at the pic and asked the recruit, "what is that! she is ugly!", and the recruit simply replied, "she is a human being sir". my question is, was that a nescessary part of traing or was the DI out of line? most of u will take up for the DI anyway. maybe this behavior isnt done aas much as it was almost 30 years ago but i think in isolated instances there is still unnescessary brutality in usmc boot camp

Why do so many people think that bush can do no wrong. I understand he is the President, but he is not God, his word is not the final say on what is truth and what is not. I see so many Bush supporters on this site and I just want to know what makes people think he is even a good president, even an alright president? So what are some positives in his presidency because I can point out the negative myself?

My reasons

1. A lot of smart Americans support his jokes on Gore's global warming

2. He tested Viagra on himself or some 14 year old in the Caribbeans

3. He think that handicap Americans are jokes

4. He is rich by just telling jokes to Americans

Yesterday 4 teenages, were pulled from class-rooms. They were told they would go straight to Juvinial Detention. If they withhold any information, by local police. No one got permission from parents for this line of questioning, to be done while at school.
These children didn't even know anything about what the police wanted information on. Isn't there a law to protect our kids? And make it the right of us as parents to know if they are being questioned, and by whom is questioning?
