The Tories have said their political strategy is to "go for Brown". As we get anti-Gordon Brown questions daily on Yahoo Answers, are the questioners simply the stooges of the Tory Party?

Perhaps those who disagree on political grounds could compare and contrast the achievements of Gordon Brown with the economic record of the previous Tory administration.

No one Discredits Ebeeneezer Brooon.. he manages just fine by himself... Yes the Tories lost the way with the unpopular Poll Tax.... so the Voters got shot of them . - the Voters should now get shot of New Labour...for Taxing us to Death. and taking the Britsh people for pure Mugs... Labour have had their wee 10+ years of Glory ...lets have a new Fresh Start and give either the Tories or some other party a few years to make this country smile again...

No - Taxgrabber Brown is an absolute nightmare - the Scots (in Scotland that is) despise him, as do most English folk.
He was left an economy that was on it's feet - the pain had been suffered - things were getting better for the taxpayer, until Lard A*se showed up.

Maybe we just think he's a smug, evil little sod who deserves to be ejected from politics and back into some sort of ancient feudal re-enactment as soon as possible.

Mind you, I think the same about most MP's.

OK Mojo - lets deal with facts shall we - refer back to the last Tory government - at the start under Mrs Thatcher - in coming to power, she and her government took YEARS to pay off the debts brought in by Labour - it took years to bring spending under control! Under Labour - interest rates were at 15% - again, it took years to bring this down!

Under last Labour government - all our assets and reserves were sold off to try to hide and bridge the gap between borrowing and spending - EXACTLY what they are doing now - AGAIN!

Again it took years of Mrs Thatcher (love her or hate her) to rectify the problem!

Now, come up to date - Labour are in power - Taxes are at the highest ever known and recorded levels - council tax has more than DOUBLED under Labour - NHS is falling apart - Law and Order is crumbling - Education is falling apart in their so called schools of excellence and acadamies!

Do I need to go on - the questions on here about Gordon 'Mugger' Brown are justified - he cannot be trusted with the countries affairs - Whether you like it or not - Mrs Thatcher only really made ONE mistake - the Poll Tax - she was feared by Russian, European corrupt MEP's and other World LEaders because she would not take their nonsense or crap!

You want Brown - you can have him - I can't wait to see you moaning about him in a year or so when your taxed out of your life!

MOJO - you can take it as you want - the facts are there - I remember paying my mortgage under Labour - it was 14.5% - Why do you think Harold Wilson jumped ship and let James Callaghan take the fall - the figures speak for themselves and nothing has changed under New Labour - they are in debt to the tune of BILLIONS of pounds as verified by the monetary commisions investigating public finances - that is why Blair is jumping ship!

The Tories don't have to have a plot to discredit him. He has discredited himself very nicely.
