I know some people who voted for him and now they think it was a bad idea.. We now have the biggest deficit in our nations history. Bush invaded Iraq because Sadaam tryed to kill Bush Sr.
He will go down as the worst president of all time and nobody takes him seriously...

I voted for Bush but not because I thought he was the best president, but the alternative would have thrown our country into chaos. The war may have been misled, but the need to see it to the end is far more important than to sit and bicker.
If Kerry had won he would have probably pulled all the troops out by now and would have left the rest of the world in there to fight without us. That would tell them all that we are not dependable and give the opinion that we are like the little boy on the playground who took his ball and ran home because the other kids wouldn't let him win. Nobody wants to play with that kid anymore.

Bush may be a blithering idiot but for the long run he was the lesser of the two evils.

The 2000 election, most of my friends and associates voted for Gore. After all, he did get most of the popular votes. In 2004, it was 50-50. It wasn't that they liked Bush, it's because they didn't like Kerry. If Kerry would have had some backbone and went on the offensive against the critics of his military record, he would have won. His wife didn't help any, but.....I voted Democratic both times.

Everybody in the evangelical church next door. They are a polling place so the fundies got to vote and pray at the same time. Two for one deal.

I did, both times. If you are indicating that we should be ashamed of our vote, let me tell you this: I suspect you are getting a skewed view of America from our mainstream press and Hollywood. These people are not representational of the majority of America, what we call the "heartland."
