It was a known fact that whenever USA sneezes the world would feel it, On 27th China had stock sell out and fell by 9% due to rumours that China intends clamping down on lending to cool share price gain and corporate investment, however Alan Greenspan's comment was attributed to the downslide of Dow Jones by 3%. What exactly caused this mudslide? Was it the China factor or US factor? Are we seeing the paradigm shift where Shangai can dictate the world economy or was just a coincident?

Children in the US go to bed hungry every night. Our educational system is in the toilet. Parenting classes are not required at any level. Predators abound. Those who hurt or murder children are not punished as severely as if they had harmed adults.

Who will really protect them??

I have a joint account with my fiance. I handle all our transactions online, but they've made a (in my eyes) huge mistake. I've linked 3 other banks to Bank of America (BofA). I frequently filter monies through each bank with BofA being the middleman. However, after one transfer, one of the transactions was denied and that linked bank was suspended with no reason. After I called to find out what happened, they gave me 4 different made up reasons as to why it was suspended, with NONE of the reasons having any validity to them. I asked to speak with the manager's manager and was given a # for some answering machine. I left at least 3 messages there explaining my grief with no responses. I then called the bank again at the regular # and asked for a response from upper management in writing to be sent in the mail - again 3 times - each time they said the response would be given in 5 to 10 business days. each time, no response. The suspension happened in December, but it's now March and they've not contacted me at all about this mishap. I'm frustrated, confused, and just want some council to whether or not i have a case to build here. They're intentionally dodging my requests and I want to sue their asses at this point. Can they get away with this?
CAN ANYONE HELP?

many of you seem frustrated with Rudy and McCain... some are bothered by Romney's mormon roots... do these things bother you?

or has someone else caught your eye... that duncan hunter guy... the huckabee (sp?) guy... holding out hope for a Newt sighting? maybe brownback, even though he has some out there ideas?

maybe someone totally different? still a long ways off, but how are you leaning now?

Did everyone forget that, while at her law firm, she falsified documents to get money for her clients, and, of course, herself? Or, is her best feature that she is "not George W. Bush"? Is it not true that EVERYONE is also NOT George W. Bush?

He lost to jr fer chrissakes.
Granted, anyone--or anything, even a duck with an arrow through his neck could do a better job than jr, but do the rep's really want a candidate who burned hundreds if not thousands of Vietnamese women and children to death?
(he dropped bombs on them you know).
Any pro-war candidate on either side will get shot down in flames.
The rep's should just save themselves some trouble and set their sights on 2016, maybe run Jenna Bush if they can sober her up by then.

I read a Washington Post article about the deplorable conditions at Walter Reed Hospital where the war wounded are sent to recooperate. How can someone who loves war as much as Bush treat these guys so badly? What is wrong with this country that we allow this to go on? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17372118/

It seems strange. Check this out: http://www.who.int/mental_health/prevention/suicide/suiciderates/en/

If you sort this European and North American countries have much higher suicide rates than the poorer countries in South America and Africa. It seems like this indicates that the average person's understanding of human suffering (less food and more struggle to survive = more suffering) is wrong. Any theories?

WHY won't somebody brave stand up like others have throughout history? Where is our Braveheart or our Oliver Cromwell etc. What about George Washington and that group? I will not vote for the schmucks coming to the front. We know who they are -- bad news!

I have been looking into Nighthawk 1911 series, especially the GRP Recon version and wonder if it is worth the $2700. At the same time, I have a Kimber 1911 TLE/RL Custom II. Is it worth switching out as a duty weapon?
