When will society snap out of the continual brain washings of the government and actually use their brains?

like back in the 60's and 70's when the president couldnt get away with doing stupid things for long. now our president blows up our own twin towers and no one even cares.

I do not believe I need to have been alive in the 60's and 70's to know what happened in the 60's and 70's. I apologize for phrasing my question so offensively, it was not of my original intent. But the majority of society are idiots, not because they are idiots, but because they chose to be idiots. At another level, the choice is not even their own. Perhaps it's incorrect to blame the government for ipods and abercrombie, and the pointless social standards that keeps citizens from being aware of what is happening that is truely important. (of course this is subjective) And very much like kennedy conspiracy, I have been led to believe that bush was responsible for 911. But of course I am still young and lacking of a proper education, but I'm trying.

What a goofy thought that the twin towers were blown up by anyone but terrorist bent on killing Americans. I think I know where you are coming from, but you need some re-direction. first off (I don't want to scare you); Our president has no real power. He is merely the scape-goat, and he knows it. Secondly; the 60's? Women's Lib? Hippies? Drugs? It was all perpetuated by the government in order to destroy family bonds and allow people to put more (false) trust into the gov't by making school attendance mandatory and creating a drug war in which to instill fear and generate money.

It goes way deeper than you think. Your eyes are not open yet. Don't be insulted by that. Instead be enflamed that you too have been duped by "The Man".
