Realise that nation of India is one of the most religiously diverse and tolerent nation in the world. Have a look on nations around India and you will appreciate this fact even more. Realise that whatever problems you are facing, almost every other Indian of similar background is also facing. Let go of the Ghetto mentality, do not become a vote bank, do not become threatned, challenged and aggresive on every issue. Be reconciliatory in your approach. Accept that India has given shelters to every religion on earth which have been hunted elesewhere like Jews, Parsis and many subsets of Islam also. Have trust in your neighbours and country. See that a lot of muslims have achieved a lot and are achieving a lot in India. Do not listen to those who wants to keep you hundreds of centuries back just to ensure that their leadership survives. You do not try to remain cut-off and you will find that you are already integrated.

Only one thing will do this work , they need to put Country first and then think about religion.
Since this is not an Islamic country this nation can not follow Koran as a reference book.This nation would be governed by Hindu ideas only even if Hindu agreed to adapt democracy. Hindu Nation is unsung song for India.
This fact they have to understand first.
As soon as they start realising that they will find themselves in main stream automatically.
Secondly , Muslims need not to appraise Terrorism just because one Muslim fellow is leading terrorists activity.
They must stop helping them mentally , financially and socially.

Common man from Hindu religion has suffered since 1947
Wherever Muslim is in majority they dont allow other religions to survive. Pakistan was created based on hatred against hindus. Pandits are thrown out from Kashmir

I suggest the question itself to be modified or dropped. Since i found many of my muslim friends have a good relationship maintained with us.
And don't forget that when our people went to watch cricket in Pakistan they have given a beautiful welcome there, people have enjoyed invitations to pak nationals house for food and shelter and they extended their joy with us.
If this is the case across border, why do u think it is harder here. The things which shows them wilder is 1) Politician & 2) Terrorists. So let people join hand in eradicate terrorism and treat every one as "bhai - bhai".
Forget about politicians - if they can't make it this way, they will make it other way for their livelihood.

First of all,they should not fill them lonely.Muslims are the unbreakable part of our country.But unfortunately some of them are made to think that they are 'minors'.In great country India,noone is minority.From centuries ,outsider muslims(mughals) ruled us & people accepted it.We have a great capacity totake together all the people &live together.

they have to think themselves as complete indian and also prove this....no soft corner for pakistan,afganistan,saudi etc. and hot corner for america, england etc....be a real indian first thenafter you will be automatically integrated into us...be positive.

They have to be broad-minded. Not to hurt others by claiming they are the God's gift, etc.
