i was driving down the motorway the other day and i was going just over 70mph, i am still a restricted driver, and there was a car parked on the bridges above me with what looked like a speed camera. but it was just standing there on a like a tripod, there was no police officers there or anything, it was silver what do u think it was???

It sounds like survey equipment. No radar guns are left with no officer around. All speed detection equipment are usually connected to a patrol car or with a officer. If it is just a sensor connected to a sign to show your speed you have no worry. They don't have any speed equipment left standing on a tripod. It sounds like you saw survey equipment along the side of the road.

Unfortunately, it was probably just a surveyor and not a policeman. Too bad, it sounds lie you are a bad driver who is a danger to other people.
