I am interested in joining the Marines as a Scout/Sniper, but I don't know what rank it goes up to. If I were to join as an officer, would this training still be available to me? If it is, what sort of things are required of a sniper officer?

Thanks for the help.

we have a first in our history. we have a black person and a woman running for the white house.

so I reach out to each group and ask. what would be the good points of either a black guy or white woman in the white house?

not the candidates themselves but the race and gender qualities.

I'll start by saying i'm not a sex offender, but I think that these license plates are going to accomplish little other than getting people beaten or killed. Why don't they just make them wear a target on their shirt?

If someone shouldn't be in society they should be in jail.... I don't think we should put people at additional risk. Monitoring them more closely would be a safer method.

I have been in the same apartment for 7 1/2 years and there has never been a no smoking policy and still isn't. Now I am moving and they want to charge me an arm and a leg to change all of the blinds, detox the place, and for the paint. There was no damage whatsoever and I left the place as clean as possible after 7 years. As far as I'm concerned, if there is no policy, I consider this wear and tear. My new place does have a no smoking policy and I'm glad, because it is nasty and gets into and onto everything. BUT, if you have the right to smoke in an apartment, how can they turn around and charge you for what they know is going to be the result?

I live in WA state.
My ex husband owes my kids an outrageous amount of back-child support. In order to get some money from him, I had the state go after him and not they take money directly from his paycheck, but not before he owed the kids nearly $20,000.
For a couple of years, his tax return went directly to me, bringing down the total owed to the kids a little bit. However, for the past two years, I stopped getting his tax returns.
This tells me that he has stopped filing his income tax. Yes, he is selfish enough to stop filing just so I can't have the money.
How do I get the law to look into this? I have talked to the Child support system and they say can't get involved in that.
I am angry because the kids deserve the financial help and I don't know who to talk to to get that selfish man to be responsible.
Yes, he does work so he should have had to file his taxes.

My questions is this - do they actually know political science, or are most of them just parroting what Michael Savage and the other barking seals in the GOP Entertainment Brigade tell them?
Have any of them every looked deeply at what Rove - Cheney and Bush are actually up to?

What should we do about all of the uninsured Americans? We spend more tax money on people who are uninsured and seek medical care than we would if we had some sort of national health care along side of private insurance. If you don't believe in some form of socialized health care, what do you suggest then? Don't say pay privately for private insurance, because that is too expensive for some people, therefore unrealistic. Or is it too bad so sad for all the uninsured children?

he talks about green house gases and all, but yet his affluent lifestyle pollutes the earth more than most of us do. yet he preaches about how we all should help save the envirmonet and cut down on polluting.

but i don't think to many people can afford to run their heat or AC all the time or just criuse aimlessly around in a car wasting gas. and those that can can afford it and no price hike will have an effect on them but will the poorer people.

i think al gore is not in touch with the realities of people, just in touch with his own.

I enlisted in the Navy. I told the recruiter everything, he said not to tell MEPS, or anyone at bootcamp that I had counseling back in hs school in 1995, and took meds for depression, and bi-polar disorder. I've been functioning fine without those meds since then, and I don't need them, or counseling. I went cause my parents were abusive, and one of them died before kicking me out because I took my sisters side. -needless to say it was a stressful period, and for that I'm stained for the rest of my life for trying to get help. They found out at bootcamp (it says it right on my hs transcript..) and now a black mark of an re4. I'd do anything to get back in the military, take any crappy, or dangerous job, but I know it all depends on meeting qualifications no matter the job. RE4 is a DQ, but what are the chances I can get it down to a RE3?

billions of dollars have been given to NO, yet still very little has been done, violence is out of control and the people haven't came back in decent numbers. Who is responsible for this? Should the federal government had taken control of the rebuilding process instead of handing Ray Nagin a check for several billion and hope he is smart enough to do the right thing? The people of NO reelected this guy, so should Americans continue to help them if they are just going to blow/lose/steal reconstruction money, or just let them deal with the guy they way as mayor? Alsol, was it wise to try to rebuild all the poor areas of new orleans with new govenrment housing instead of letting private contractors come in and build new, more expensive homes and apartments?

I imagine it's mostly Bush supporters who can afford beach front property, It will be true justice when Bush's policies leave them ,in some cases, with only one usable home, good thing they all got yachts with their tax cuts.
