If youre talking about the ASVAB go to a recruiter and talk to him/her about the test. they can give you a practice test at their office to see where you stand. they should also have books to help you study. the ASVAB covers a lot of different areas of study, from math to mechanics. so some sections might be easy and some might be hard, just study and take the practice test and you should be fine! And thanks for wnating to join the Air Force!!!

The test is given in different categories and each category is timed. There are x many questions in each category. When taking each test answer the easy ones first and go back and pick up the less easy ones and if you have time give the hard ones your best guess. All questions count the same so don't waste a lot of time trying to figure out the hard questions the first time through.
Watch carefully for questions which ask "Which is not?"
Eat something sweet before the test and if possible have a mint between tests. An increased sugar level helps many people think better during tests.
GOOD LUCK

in case you base your answer on the thank you to bypass with ideal rankings, the army's attempt is greater durable, yet by skill of a good distance, the recent Air stress PT application is plenty harder. Minimums for each element of th attempt interior the army are below the Air Forces minimums to bypass. The Air stress tests two times a year additionally. So well being could desire to maintained by the year quite than a month past which a lot of people do.

If your talking about the ASVAB, then no. Most of it is just basic stuff. The ASVAB will basically give them an idea of what you know...then off that they can see what jobs you'd be better at doing. You can't fail the test. However if you score low enough you wont be able to do active duty. I checked out a sample of an ASVAB from the library just to see what it would look like and the sorts of questions they may ask. I suggest taking a look at it. Good luck.

Are you talking about the ASVAB? Because thats not really difficult...and there are study guides for it if you want to study before you take it, just go the the library and ask...as far as getting into a certain career field in the AF, you have to attain the minimum score for that specific career as well as have that in your contract when you sign up...don't come in "open general" or open anything for that matter. I've been in the AF for about 4 years now, on my way out...if you have any ?'s feel free to e-mail me at i_adam_i18@yahoo.com and good luck to you

The test isn't too bad and it is the same for all branches. It is basically an aptitude test, common sense questions, basic math and english. It shows what areas you are good in and areas you are lacking. It spits out a score and the job availability is based off the score. It is pretty hard to do bad on the test.

If you are taking the AFOQT to check out some samples at the local library and go over it. If others they may have them too. Remember whoever does the best on their tests gets first pick at what and where they do and serve. Rank in class determines who gets first pick. Good luck.

The only "test" that I recall havgin to take before going into the Air Force was the ASVAB and no it's not difficult. It only measures which areas you are stronger in, similar to teh ACT or SAT you would have taken in high school.
