Heh, I saw that, people couldn't get the snarkiness and satirical nature of your post. All they see is the headline.

I think the reason is they don't bother looking and clicking on the links.

This is a reflection on society as a whole.

Most people are always in a hurry and want things done and do things in an instant. They don't want to wait the few secs that requires you to actually read a question. If you got an idea what its about then do it.

Greed. For some reason us humans are always in a battle for being the "best". What the "best" is depends. In this "best" is being the highest possible level and highest amount of points no matter what.

Sure, many people on this site ask one stupid question and then back it up with a bunch of superfluous garbage. Who wants to read a load of crap? People should ask a coherent question encompassing all of what the want to know, in the first sentence. The problem is, many on this site are nearly illiterate and unable to communicate in the written form of their own language. Just read some of the junk questions and you will agree.

Sometimes, there is a bunch of rambling and venting, and no question involved. So it is easier to just look at the stuff in bold before answering.

Otherwise, I don't really know.

some questions are just too long and boring
Sometimes you can answer just based on the opening line
Sometimes people don't really mean to help you as much as to make a smart remark

Its easy to figure out......it was too long......no one wants to take time out to read all the stuff in that question. Next time get to the point quicker.
