We can't just eliminate the oil companies, who would drill our oil in the U.S.? What we could do, perhaps, is limit the amount of profit they are allowed to charge those who must use their product! Every business needs to make a profit, but the oil companies are gluttons! The price of oil drives up the cost of everything else! They should be allowed to make a profit but not the huge profits they are now making. They need to be monitored by someone! I would say the government but everyone knows that the government is in the oil companies pocket!
We cannot stop importing oil, we need it to run our country! Ethanol has not proved to be the complete answer. The energy it takes to make it out weighs the benefits of production.

I am for eliminating the oil rich companies but if they stopped importing oil you might be one of those people screaming in the pump. I am not criticizing but its the reality.
This is a people power country isn't it? If we decided to take wal-mart down and if we stopped shopping there what will happen?
I think instead of urging the government to stop the oil rich companies importing of oil we should take action and reduce the usage of oil and try to start using public transportation.

What handed off whilst he controlled to get Congress to bypass the CFPAct? for 3 years now, the Republicans have refused to approve a head for it, basically as they have refused to verify a head for the ATF for 6 years! you could't ***** approximately issues no longer being enforced once you refuse to establish the mechanism to do it. basically elevating the margin standards on futures would be adequate to close a minimum of a million/2 of it down. it incredibly is at the instant at 3%. improve it to twenty-5%. And including a 5 cent transaction value would quit the microtrading. it would stabilize no longer basically the marketplace however the economic equipment. think of the government is going to circulate after the great moneyed human beings?

Yes, we have reached peak oil internationally, and drilling in Alaska won't solve the long term problem. Oil is not infinite. What will we do when we run out. Plan for the future now!

Let's start drilling our own despite what the environmental wackos think. Just who do you think is going to provide the oil that this economy runs on?? the government? you will be filling out forms for a week before you get a gallon of gas.
