Pro's: The Worker always has work, everyone has the same status, no one is rich and there are no poor (since they're all equal)
Con's: Science does not grow as fast as Democracies, no way to get rich, manual labor jobs are mostly available.

I have to address Norte on this one you have it azz backwards lol. It's the libs who run the democratic party today who favor socialism (communism) they want free health care if it goes through, folks you will see how expensive "free is"! They think they can tax us into prosperity! What have all of the liberals who are running for president under the democratic party promised us? Higher taxes! Get rid of the tax cuts that have helped our economy to be very healthy for the last 6 years. Trying to tax a country into prosperity is like a man standing in a large bucket trying to lift himself off the ground by pulling on the handle.. It's impossible that's the core of socialism /communism it has never worked in the past and won't work here now. the more government controls our lives the worst we will be. Both parties are out of control we need a leader who has Conservative values and won't buckle under pressure like Bush has on issues like Education. the libs say they don't have enough money to run education right ha! We have thrown more money into education then ever before and it is worse shape then it was in prior decades with far less money. It's not that the kids are dumber they just ain't getting the money they need! Most of the money is being swallowed up in the black hole of big government. Education, health care welfare should be run on local leverls. The less hands that the money goes through the more will reach where it is needed. It's common sense. Which our leaders seem to be very much lacking in.

I don't think there are any pros. It's a failure as an economic and political system. There are no examples of a working communist country. China can only afford communism because of the massive amounts of foreign investment from capitalist nations that roll in every year. As Churchill said, democracy is the worst form of government, except for every other form of government.

The pros are that the earths resources would be used for the betterment of all mankind instead of just a few elites. The cons are it relies to heavily on a party or "vanguard". Power must be in the hands of all the people.

permit's first commence by skill of asserting that the two Capitalism AND Communism look great on paper - even nevertheless, neither are able to rather engaged on their very own. experts of Capitalism: a million) Very efficient at arising wealth 2) generally good at retaining unemployment low 3) grants much of mobility to absolutely everyone (keep in mind the word "absolutely everyone") Cons of Capitalism: a million) no longer efficient at equitably spreading wealth into the palms of the numerous 2) inspite of intense ranges of employment, that employment isn't gainful 3) It grants much of mobility for absolutely everyone, yet no longer anybody. It demands a extensive base of low-paid workers with the intention to maintain expenditures low. As such, there is often going to be an entire phase of a capitalistic society which would be unable to rather replace their station experts of Communism: a million) Very sturdy concentration on preparation 2) plenty greater equitable proportion of wealth to the numerous 3) no one rather has to bypass without needs Cons of Communism: a million) Low resistance to alter of the device 2) no longer able to generating the uncooked wealth mandatory to maintain a rustic shifting forward 3) harder for persons to be waiting to locate the money for and get carry of luxury products something else to think of roughly, now: something all prosperous, prosperous countries have in user-friendly is they prepare a mix of Capitalism and Communism. they have a tendency to permit loose industry thoughts mutually as redistributing plenty-mandatory supplies to the unfavorable. Why is this efficient? It aids the unfavorable that Capitalism necessitates mutually as permitting a great deal of wealth to be created and pursued.

Communism is good for some but terriable for others. Wen you think, everyone gets the same pay, you think well thats good. But this causes a huge problem. In America, we get paid for how hard we work and earn. With communism, you could slack off and do nothing and get the same pay as someone working there but off. It also gives you no idependce. You eat what the government gives you. You can only draw certain paintings, only wear certain clothing. Just look at north korea. What it comes down to is communism is good for the poor, not hard working, and bad for the rich, hard working people. Good luck

Communism is the most cruel and disgusting system that ever existed on the planet.
GOP is very similar to the Communist Party in many ways. For example, Republicans don't like pluralism (they want a Christian society), Republicans are very militaristic, they don't believe in fairness and the rights of minorities. Commies and Republicans are the basically very similar. Most of their members are scumbags.

Communism
Pro: Everything belongs to the government
Con: Nothing belongs to the citizens
Pro: That's great if you're the government
Con: The people have nothing.
Pro: Goods and services are cheap or free
Con: Since there are no wages for the people, there is no incentive to work, and goods are scarce or non-existent and services don't work most of the time.

PROS--We could all stand in long lines and wait for our weekly bag of oatmeal or potatoes, we could all be "equal" in pay with no incentive to ever achieve or do better than the next guy. We could get shot for publicly disagreeing with the government, or better yet imprisioned and torturted for years.
CONS--gee I cant think of any
