should that have to be done. Many of you fine folks are fighting in Iran and elsewhere, only to hear that your country is being overridden with folks from down south of the border with no concern for our laws, our infrastructure and for some your wives and the benefits of your children. Maybe you can't say but if you can, is there frustration in your hearts? Will you come back to the USA and deffend our borders if you need to?

Since Bulgaria is part of the EU now, will Bulgarians be able to work and study in the UK without having to obtain a permit? How long until all the superficial restrictions are removed? There shouldn't be a second-class of E.U. citizens.

The reports describe a female guard who detainees said handled their genitals and wiped menstrual blood on their face. Another interrogator reportedly bragged to an FBI agent about dressing as a Catholic priest and "baptizing" a prisoner.

Some military officials and contractors told FBI agents that the interrogation techniques had been approved by the Defense Department, including directly by former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld.

I keep noticing questions and replies regarding this and it does come to my surprise when people reply or ask referring to the fact that since our military of today is an all volunteer service that it takes away a certain valor or dignity or just something special to the fact that they died while serving their country. I cant put my finger on it but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when i read these comments and wonder if anyone else feels that way too?

No one really expects to die (if some do, the number is not that high) when they join the army. Life throws at us so many different situations that we ought to realize that alot of people (i did NOT say all, but many) join the military for the fact that they dont see any other option in order to move forward with their life.

2 of my kids just came out of foster care, and I await the other 2. While my kids have been in the "system'" for 9 months, they allowed to get away with murder! CPS has a no spanking policy and they suggest time outs and things of that nature, well my kids aren't having that, and they returned to me and my hubby, loud, demanding, spolied and unruly!

They were not angels before, but being in foster care and not being able to be spanked has made them very hard headed, not to mention the stress of being away from family.

My kids are 2 year old twins, has anyone else been through this? Any suggestions how to deal with my kids? the other 2 are ages 8 and 1years old.

Why was the country dragged down with the Clinton scandal, and trials, that went on for months, when other important things were happening in the world, and Nixon was pardoned, and his crimes and perjuries were never investigated?

Whas Ford really pardoning? Or was he trying to save his Republican party from political destruction?

This is supposedly a new law, but I can't find anything about it. I don't know how it works, only that it prevents those with drug convictions from becoming teachers, lawyers or doctors. Any clue?

The Great and kind leader Suddam has died! We should declare a national day of mourning in the US! Don't you think. He was truly a prophet of God! Do agree that we should mourn the death of the great leader, and punish the Americans for murder>

Why is pot illegal?

Based on the information i hear, its a stupid law... alcohol impairs your judgement more than weed does... and based on text book facts, alcohol is MORE harmful to your brain than marijuana is because of all the lab made chemicals in it. And you're more likely to get lung cancer from cigarettes than anything else... (even pot).

So, lets get real...

Clearly the government doesn't care if we get ****** up or if we kill our brain cells (booze).

Or if we destroy our lungs (cigs).

So don't tell me "its because it causes people to act stupid" or "it kills brain cells" or "it's bad for your lungs".... because there are many legal things that do ALL of those.

The only reason i can think of is the money issue... because it is so easy to grow, and it doesn't need to be processed (like tobacco) it wouldn't be able to be taxed... could that be it?

What do you think? let me know...

For example, instead of punishing schools for not admitting minorities the government comes up with affirmative action which leads schools to pick minority candidates, regardless of if they deserve to attend or not. Certain students may be admitted based on their ethnicity or sex rather than their academic achievement.

Special government agencies, VAWA comes to mind, dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and women alone. Instead of an agency that strides to prevent violence against all people.

My question to you is... will we ever enter a state of mind where we move to give ALL people an education and stride to prevent violence against ALL people rather than a specific group? Or will we continue to run the illogical course where inequality is shifted from the majority to the minority?

For God's sake... somebody show the US government how Europe runs things.
