1. When is the last time you saw a confederate flag in a CW video? It's not going to happen because it might hurt someone's feelings. boohoo.
2. In the long run, the singers themselves have very little say in the final product. They do as they are told by the producers, directors, recording execs, who are for the most part NOT Southerners, but are part of the same tiny minority that owns/operates/produces much of the mass media in the US and Europe and who are very much in favor of WW III (Wolfowitz's War for the Immediate Improvement of israel).
3. No one ever lost a dime hiding behind "patriotism".
4. If you listen to any country music at all these days you will see that it is mostly directed at women, who will lap up all the propaganda you slop into the trough.
5. Whereas the war in Afghanistan was justified to go after Osama bin Laden and his protectors, the Taliban, there was never any reason to go into Iraq, period. Wolfowitz and Co. simply exploited Dim George into carrying out a ten year old plan. It is very much illegal and hopefully the real war criminals will be dragged through the streets to the gallows, but I doubt it.

His war isn't "illegal", but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing. There's absolutely NO goal to this war, and our brothers and sisters are dying needlessly.
As for the Confederate flag...what's wrong with that?? Just because country singers can't get that the country is no longer divided along the Mason-Dixon line doesn't mean they can't fly the flag.
I also disagree with an earlier poster. This particular "war" involves mainly the US and GBR, as VERY few other countries around the world actually support it.

I don't support the war or wave the confederate flag seeing as I am a yankee and proud of it. However I think it's a shame a real rotten shame how people are protesting this war a soldiers funerals. So just maybe these singer and flag wavers are supporting the soldiers who died because of the orders of the Commander and Chief??
Shoot if that's what they are doing then give me a confederate flag because these men do deserve our support.

I'll ignore the stupid comment about the Confederate flag, but the answer is that country-western singers haven't been contaminated by the Hollywood Leftist elites. They still understand American values

You writing it doesn't make the war illegal, and why is it so puzzling to you that people support the President? Those who don't support the actions of this Country still can't get the idea that a majority of Americans voted for the President twice? Get over yourself, you're in the minority.

Where is this? I have not seen it. Though the retards flying the Confederate flag probably do not know what the confederate flag stands for. Connecting these two topics presses an anti-war agenda in that it looks as if it is intended to portray Iraq war supporters as insane. I though agree we could do much better in Iraq, first step, get rid of Bush and Cheney.

Because in the South that is unfortunately for most southerners the only option they have of getting enough money to go to college..to join the military. So they join the military and the moms, dads, sister, brothers of those people have to support the war to keep their hope and their sanity. No one wants to be told that their son/daughter is fighting in an illegal war. So they are die hard war supporters.

There is no domestic or international law that says this war is illegal. As for me, I own not one confederate flag, I listen to Seattle grunge, have never watched nascar, and none of the other terrible stereotypes and slurs the liberals love to spew, even though they are supposedly the party of 'tolerance' and 'acceptance'

Southern living, Bush supporters for the most part, Republican and definitely Bush supporters, afterall this is his party and his part of the country. Perhaps they are people who have not given the whole question of the war, losses of human life and costs to the country financially a whole lot of critical thought. Other than that, I cannot say. Perhaps you have some ideas
