Thousands of great freedom fighters had sacrificed their life for Independence. Is it our tribute to those selfless great heroes? Why we are not ashamed of worshipping crooks? Why cellular jail was partially destroyed?

I would say Great Britain, but can't find any websites that show what nations contribute.

I for one think that this is total rubbish! Our house prices are already far more that most ordinary people could dream about now because there's more people than available housing. If we keep getting more and more immigrants here then life will rapidly become intolerable here in the very near future.

Every major war has always breed contraversy.
Starting with WW2, IMO. At the on set of WW2 everyone was gung-ho. Hundreds of thousands signed up. The homefront stepped into gear. UNTIL:
One thing got in the way: THE MEDIA
After the battle of Iwo Jima, which was shown on theathre screens across America, the WAR turned to a political issue.

So, is the media to blame for all our woes in Iraq? Why does the media only show negative crap. Can we not see one shread of good the soldiers do in Iraq?

What happened to the media in Afghanistan, why hardly any coverage on it now?

What are your thoughts?

Ok so New Year's Eve, I was stopped and searched in Camden , London and found with a really small amount of cannabis. As I'd never been in any sort of trouble before, I panicked and gave them an old address and a false date of birth. Somehow, they came to the conclusion that I was malaysian (I did not tell them I was from malaysia but they thought I was) and I didnt comment. What is the likelihood that they will actually take action over the fact that false details were given? Needless to say I wish i'd just been straight with them but at the time was really afraid of being arrested. Could I have some advice please? Thanks.

Should one of the Governments top agendas be "to get people out of their cars"

Railfares have gone up and bus routes have fallen. Tony Blair & the Government don't seem to be to bothered with this?

Is this the case? and if so why is this so?

In the world today when the supposed main threat to world peace is terrorism do you think Britain needs to begin increasing its army RAF and Royal navy instead of this spirral to a near non existent ( i mean our overall strength is just over 200,000 which is just bigger than the USMC ) What if as some people see it we have to go to war with Iran, China The Middle East would 200,000 soldiers be enough to play a part. I know we are as good as anyone if not better man for man but when you start out numbering us 10,20,30 to one in men and equipment could we take the strain? I think we may struggle. We made the world a better place whilst the superpower but now we are heading the way of Spain, Italy, Germany and becoming a total has been which cannot make a difference to the world. Do we want that of as Brits do we want to continue what our nation has stood for a inject fear into any nation that dares challenge our freedom and rights as we once did just a few decades ago. Your thoughts?

I won't call this conflict a war simply because if it where handeled like a war it would have been over last year with the destruction of every standing thing larger than an ant hill.
