The people just below our apartment have a full home theatre system, and every so often I have to go down knock on the door and politely ask them to turn down the volume. They are very nice about it, but after a few days its the same thing. The vibrations come up through the wood floor and almost make me nauseous. I don't want to report them as they do comply when ASKED, but we can't go on doing this forever.

After all, BOTH countries seem to have a total nutter in charge.
Are Iranians more "expendable" than Americans?
If nuclear weapons are true deterrants surely everyone should have them?. (Look how conventional fighting has decreased between India and Pakistan, look how Europe no longer fights inwardly after a thousand years of European conflict.)
I believe that the two countries most likely to use nukes are USA and Israel (Against Arabs), If a few Arab countries are nuked-up this would cease to be as likely.
The only justification for Iran not nuking-up would be "survival of the fittest (or richest), which is essentially racist anyway and should not be enshrined in international law. One law for the rich etc.
I ask again. Why don't Iranians deserve the same protection as Americans?

I've been reading about all the "help" the provide to their illegal emigrants to cross the border safely. I personally think this is wrong on their part, since instead of trying to fix the problem, they are only making it easier for Mexicans to come illegally. We are seeing a game of interests here, the more people working in the USA, the more money Mexico receives. That's why I believe something has to be IMMEDIATELY done about illegal immigration. We may disagree on what to do, but I believe mass deportation is only going to make things worse. I believe amnesty should selectively be given to those who have shown to adapt and behave, all the criminals and useless scum should be deported, and the borders should be secured 1000%. Also improving the legal immigration system would help A LOT, making it easier for people to come in legally would decrease the amount of people trying to sneak in.

Gerald Ford was a Mason and signed and authorized into law the Privacy Act of 1974 enabling employers including federal, state and local governments to legally religiously discriminate against their employees by making it law to exclude religious affiliation information in job applications thereby making it impossible to claim minority status with regards to religion as the data is completely hidden. So that majorities of employees in a given area that belong to creed based clubs, knowing each other or each other's memorized views of creed, for instance, can play favoritism in their hiring practices. This goes on for generation after generation especially in small town areas. It eventually breaks the will of some very good conscientious people who do not belong to the cliques. It is unfair and discriminatory, moreso than color or sex, and it makes money for those organizations that the chosen belong to. Belief is not knowledge, some may be myth? Civility is our goal?

Any true Native Americans out there who’d like to comment on the resounding claims of nationals from places south of here that they (though they probably have less Cherokee blood than I do, despite having forsaken any tribal tongue 20 some generations ago, despite that their culture is almost identical to the Spaniards of history) that they somehow hold a stronger blood title to this land?

That the argument over legal or illegal is moot despite that Europeans and Mexicans united AGAINST Santa Anna…because he was a dictator in the spirit of every Conquistador?

I work 3rd shift, as a nurse. Upon going to 3rd shift, I have had to work 12 hour weekend shifts. My employer docks our checks 1 hour out of the 12 we work for Lunch break. Due to being the only nurse on the unit at night, I'm unable to leave the unit for an hour for lunch, so why should my check be docked for 1 hour of lunch,if I am not allowed to take it. Is this legal?
