Any true Native Americans out there who’d like to comment on the resounding claims of nationals from places south of here that they (though they probably have less Cherokee blood than I do, despite having forsaken any tribal tongue 20 some generations ago, despite that their culture is almost identical to the Spaniards of history) that they somehow hold a stronger blood title to this land?

That the argument over legal or illegal is moot despite that Europeans and Mexicans united AGAINST Santa Anna…because he was a dictator in the spirit of every Conquistador?

True or False “We reclaim some ancestral lands while ignoring other ancestral lands not that some lands are better than other lands but because we like jobs with our lands”

I have a great-grandfather several generations back who was a Cherokee chief. This is the first I've heard of this and frankly I'm rather annoyed. I just do not understand why they are focusing on events that happened over 100 years ago.

Not a Native American but I must post to comment on the inaccuracies.

1. most people in Latin America are Native Americans not descendants of Spaniards. Think about it, Spaniards are white most folks south of the United Statesian border are brown.

2. Their culture IS NOT almost identical to that of the Spaniards, in fact it is almost the exact opposite. Spaniards treat women better than the citizens of any other nation, they pretty much idolize them, does the term 'Latin Lover' mean anything to you? Native Americans don't.

3. Santa Anna was an American President, he presided over the American nation of Mexico, he was NOT a Spaniard Conquistador.

The question over ancestral lands makes no sense.

It is the year 2007. I'm not sorry about the past because I never lived in the 1600-1800's and am not responsible for anything my 4 fathers did. However it is sad. This is the reality. Reality sucks, even for this white boy who was born in America.

to the above, Indians(some ) are dark complected. my uncles wife was full blooded Sioux Indian and she was dark. the Mexicans have Indian blood in them from Mexico. not the same as the American natives. the Mexicans have no claim on this land in any way. please stop justifying them being here illegally. they have no grounds to stand on.
