"We are practicing La Reconquista in California."
– Jose Angel Pescador Osuna, Mexican consul-general, at Southwestern University School of Law.

""Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die ... through love of having children, we are going to take over."
– Augustin Cebeda, of the Brown Berets, at a rally in Los Angeles.

"California is going to be a Hispanic state and anyone who doesn't like it should leave."
– Mario Obledo, co-founder of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund, or MALDEF in a radio interview on KIEV.

"We have an aging white America. They are dying. They are sh----- in their pants with
fear! I love it! We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the
worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him!"
– Jose Ang

As you may have seen, last week Tony Blair and his family were on a British Airways plane that overran the runway in Miami. Why were they on a regular British Airways flight? What leader of a major country flies commercial?...Come to think of it, I'd bet Canada flies coach.

Bill Clinton dodged the draft, that's no lie, but at least Clinton was against the war. Bush actually supported the war, but just didn't have what it takes to face his chances with the draft board.
The Texas National Guard had a year and a half waiting list, yet that didn't seem to prevent him from getting a slot overnight. He was in a regiment that had four other sons of politicians and seven Dallas Cowboys! What more evidence do some people need?

My fater who was apart of the civil rights movement n the 60's and 70's stopped talking to me because i joined the US Marines he said this Country will always treat African Americans like 2nd class citizens and me joining the Military in 1989 was a slap in his face well now everything he said is true Mike Hunt's Question on Yahoo "How many people H8 ***-ars" was shocking and hurtful and many of the remarks on Yahoo is hurtful, but what hurts the most is that my father was right I have experience So much hatred that it's a shame, and i told my dad one day the US Gov't wou officially apologize to Blacks for Slavery and or pay Reparations, well i don't believe that anymore. Why did i fight for this country?

The fact is that the majority of references to God in our government came during the 1950s.

In regard to the use of "In God We Trust" on currency the Federal Bureau of Engraving and Printing states:
The use of the national motto on both U.S. coins and currency notes is required by two statutes, 31 U.S.C. 5112(d) (1) and 5114(b), respectively. The motto was not adopted for use on U.S. paper currency until 1957. It first appeared on some 1935G Series $1 Silver Certificates, but didn't appear on U.S. Federal Reserve Notes until the Series 1963 currency.

I too think the hanging of Saddam was wrong when up until now, it was illegal to turn a prisoner of war over to his enemies. I don't know if the trial was or was not justified, but as of the day of the execution, I no longer care. I do care about those who mourn Hussein. As such, they have a right to have a moment of silence.

Early Saturday afternoon I mailed a Priority package from Pennsylvania to a friend in New York. The Post Office was closed Sunday, as always. It was also closed Monday for New Year and it was closed Tuesday for Gerald Ford's Funeral. Did my package just sit there in PA for three days? Or is it already in New York so my friend will get it today (Wednesday)?
