Answerer #3 got it. We have the right to lobby our government, and I have made use of that. What needs to be fixed it the free gifts and such, which are basically bribes. The 1st amendment protect our right to petition, which means we can meet with members of congress if we wish, and it doesn't require anything except an appointment.
