Was not aware it was broadcast on TV. I wouldn't watch it anyway. And the choice was made after he stood trial in Iraq and was judged for his crimes by his own people so yes, I agree with his sentence. The timing of the execution was off though. It turned out that US advisors urged them to wait to execute him till after the holidays.

Right or wrong depends on whether you lived though his torment and was personally affected. This man was just that a man. Good for some bad for others. In the end he got spiritual and hopeful of heaven. Death is final and so are the things that he did with his brothers against other people of his nation. I would take up arms and fight for my brother and sister;s around me if the government came in and try to kill them for any reason other than treason. There is no good in anyone. Only Jesus has that respected honor. Jesus would want to be on TV. That way the world would see how great he is and that death can't keep him down. Saddam Hussein die and that is all there is to him. Who is next. The county is at war with it's self. a chicken with it head cut off. What is the final answer to this question. Change to channel

It was the right thing to do. Committing those crimes against humanity decades upon decades and wars with all of his neighbors.

It serves as an example of how punishment should be carried out, swiftly. Not keep in cages for 12 years on average as they drain tax payers money.

I think he deserved it and more, for what he did. And his disrespect during his trials was outrageous, but I don't think it's something to be seen on t.v., too many kids watching. But I understand the need to see it. Seeing is believing. Alot of people think it's a hoax.

Im not going to answer this question but think about this. If somebody took you or your leader out of your country for doing something that is bad in their country and then hanging you for it, even though it might have been perfectly legal in your original country. Thats basically what we did.

It should be aired to TV , and it was but they omitted the actual hanging part because of the weak American pansy stomachs. I mean no offense aginst us Americans. Just the media always has to sugar coat reality.

I think it was wrong because no human being has the right to take the precious gift of life (yes I know it sounds cheesy) away from another human being. It was not meant for us to decide who lives or who dies. But I do believe he should be put in jail for life and no parole. I think he wil do plenty of suffering in jail. (Jail is no peice of cake)

Sure, why not. The only thing about his hanging that dissapointed me was the fact that I didn't get to supply the rope. Oh well.

Should not have been aired on television at all!

As to the matter of hanging him....I'm not happy that our government had a hand in it...
doesn't look good abroad!

Did he have it coming? ..Most likely.
