We should take our obese welfare citizens and send them to one of those poor nations in Africa (say Somalia or Ethiopia) in exchange for those nations' starving children. While in Africa, the fat Americans will be made to work their fat bums off (farming, herding, whatever), live in mud huts, go for days without food, and suffer from malaria. Guarantee, they will shed the pounds! In the meantime, the starving African children will live here in the US to eat and get fat on burgers, fries, and milkshakes. After a year, the program ends and the groups will switch back.

I think it's a marvelous plan! It promotes Goodwill for our country and we will help the fatties lose and the starving children gain the weight. It's a win-win situation for all. Yes?

hehehe...

I am hearing that President Bush should be impeached, that he is a criminal. Now I'm hearing that he violated his Oath of Office! I mean what was his violation, in my eyes he didnt do anything wrong. and dont tell me people that was killed under his belt. There is no president, prime minister, king or emperor who doesnt have bodies under his belt. someone fill me in with their logic. (sources are recommended)

A "jury of one's peers" carries with it all the prejudices and subjectivity that the random citizen brings to it. The job of a prosecutor is to convict. The job of a defense attorney is to acquit. The methods they use to win their case often involve a bit of smoke and mirrors to sway the jury to their side and the guilt or innocence of the accused becomes secondary to the goal of "WIN-WIN-WIN". It's illogical to expect a bunch of average Joes and Marys to reach a unanimous impartial decision with this type of system. A better means to ensure some semblance of justice would be to have a panel of legal experts or judges make the final decision as they do in some European countries. I rest my case!

Bush is responcible for more american lives being lost and he is screwing us daily so I'd have to say Bin Laden is a better friend to the american people than Bush.

When the Vietnam War ended in defeat for the U.S. Ford said"Today, America can regain the sense of pride that existed before Vietnam. But it cannot be achieved by refighting a war that is finished as far as America is concerned." Evoking Abraham Lincoln, he said it was time to "look forward to an agenda for the future, to unify, to bind up the nation's wounds." What do you think Bush would say about the parallel situation in the middle east, Do you think he will ever step down and admit the same as the former 2 great historical men..

After reading many replies to these threads i have noticed that many people have said things like " screw the liberals" and " Liberals are screwing up America." well hear is my reply to you, why do you like have to fallow someones footsteps. We need people like us Liberals to stand up for what we feel is right. How do you think Women got to have the same rights as men? Why do you think coloreds and whites have the same rights? It is becuase of us Liberals that we can have these rights, we faught for our belifes and won. Now you tell me what is wrong with that huh??
