My ancestors that came here had to learn English, why should things be any different now? Ever call the phone company and have to press a button for English? Who agrees that is going too far?

After the accusation, this guy left his home state and nobody knows where he is. However, I do know that he still resides in the USA and plans to leave the country sometime in 2007. After speaking with my uncle (a police officer) on the subject, I was informed that an APB was issued on this guy. Anyway the thing is that there is a 13 year old girl with a newborn baby who is possibly his. (Obviously...he's running) My question is..... Is it possible for him to have success at leaving the country and starting a new life while there is an APB out on him in the US? He hasn't been formally accused but this would be considered a felony case.

Has anyone out there fought in Iraq or Afghanistan and come back feeling positive about it? I've written soldiers during the first year who were very positive about what we were doing and have heard many say it's been great but, I would like more input. I would prefer to here from real soldiers not "I heard" or "I know". If a family member of yours is over there and you don't like it I'm sorry but, it's their choice and they already made it.

Was renting a house in CA thru prop mgmt co and moved to VT. Prop Mgmt Co mailed my deposit refund 1 day late (which by law means I am entitled to a full refund?) and deducted extremely unreasonable amounts from my deposit. I left the home same condition than when I moved in, all it required was carpet cleaning and paint (though truthfully the walls were so clean it probably wasn't even painted). The Prop Mgmt Co deducted $920 of a $1500 deposit. The OWNER of the property beleives I should have received a $1225 refund and has since fired them because of a ton of issues that sht has with them. I am now 3000 miles away and don't know how to go about getting the $ back that I am entitled to.

When my exboyfriend and I split, I had put his name on my house. He felt I owed him 50000.00. I consulted a real estate lawyer, she felt I didn't but I would have to let him live in the house until we went to court( he was already bringing his girlfriend over while I was at work) so she suggested, if I could get up the money, get him out NOW. I refied MY house (had him sign a quit claim). We also owned an RV together. To get my name off that (he wanted it) I needed him to re finance that. So I paid him 50000.00, he signed the quit claim to my house and he agreed to keep the RV and refinance it. Well, 3 years later, I find out it has been repossessed AND my name is still on it. Because they can't reach him, they are calling me for the money. For the last 3 years, I have worked 2 jobs to pay my bills (he was great at never having his wallet, it was on my credit cards). Anyway, I don't have anymore money, the ex won't return my phone calls or letters. I can't and don't want to pay

and how do feel about that?

In 1763, George III drew a line on a map stretching from modern-day Maine to modern-day Georgia, along the crest of the Appalachians. He declared it illegal to claim or settle land west of the line, all of which he reserved for Native Americans.

George Washington, a young colonel in the Virginia militia, instructed his land-buying agents in the many ways of getting around the law. Although Washington was not alone in acquiring forbidden tracts, few were as energetic in the illegal acquisition of western land.
