My ex co-worker has been accused of getting an underaged female pregnant in another state?

After the accusation, this guy left his home state and nobody knows where he is. However, I do know that he still resides in the USA and plans to leave the country sometime in 2007. After speaking with my uncle (a police officer) on the subject, I was informed that an APB was issued on this guy. Anyway the thing is that there is a 13 year old girl with a newborn baby who is possibly his. (Obviously...he's running) My question is..... Is it possible for him to have success at leaving the country and starting a new life while there is an APB out on him in the US? He hasn't been formally accused but this would be considered a felony case.

Unfortunately for that poor girl who's life has been ruined, it's very easy to leave the US and slip into the fold of anonymity. One thing he cannot escape is he will probably exist as an illegal for the rest of his life... which is harder than most people think... and as soon as he pops up to see what happened in the past, WHAMMO. In any case, he'll get some bad *** karma because you never really escape your past.

As long as he can cross the border, he may have luck in eluding the warrant. Even living in the U.S. is possible, though difficult. His success would depend on his resources once he leaves the country. If they have frozen his assets then he will have difficulty earning a living abroad and many countries will have extradition agreements with the U.S. so there is the possibility of his being arrested through an interpol warrant should he use his real name. Certainly he won't be able to travel with his legitimate passport across proper U.S. borders. BTW there is no "formal" accusation prior to arrest. There is only a warrant. Then there is arraignment on charges. His not being formally accused means nothing.

It's easy to leave this country anytime. Look how many come here to the USA by just walking in from Mexico. So it's twice as easy to leave.

I'd say chances are quite good he's long gone living the good life in another country, but if this doesn't directly effect you, you'd be wise to stay out of it.

If he lives the country in time yes.

For example, if he decides to start a life in Cuba -- America could contact Cuba and get them into the issue which would allow them to legally arrest him.

However, unless he gets a false identification I doubt the Air Port will let him leave.
