When you visit a Solicitor in UK, you assume that s/he has studied law. Largely, this is not the case. You visit a Doctor in UK, and s/he must be qualified, by law. There is also the question of teachers who vary. That is not to say that eveyone who has a degree knows all about it and this is certainly not the issue. I have known for several years that there is a complete farcical situation here.Shall I set up a pressure group? If I do, I need plenty of people behind me and so my questions. Happy New Year.

If Congress had any REAL case against him, wouldn't he have been on trial for at least as long as everyone, outside of the government, has been whining for him to be?

Once again I feel I have done nothing wrong! Shouldn't Yahoo Answers at least READ what was said BEFORE implimenting disciplinary actions? This is becoming tiresome. There are many on the program who report anything that they don't agree with. Something should be done to end this behavior. It's not the points...it's the principle. I have enjoyed my time here but I am growing weary of the ones who are censoring harmless comments. Your help will be most appreciated.

Before the Iraq war, George W. Bush claimed that Hussein was trying to keep his WMD's and to acquire more of them. Hussein claimed he was doing no such thing, and that he was rid of all that he had. Hussein refused inspectors access to certain locations and aging stockpiles of Sarin were found. But no other WMDs were found.

One of the two was lying. Was Bush lying and Hussein innocent, or was Hussein lying and Bush justified?

Once I graduate from college I want to become a marine officer, what is it like in the corps? How does being a marine change a person? People have described the rush of marine life as addicting, do must marines stay in the corps or leave? As a young man who wants to become more responsible and grow overall as a person, how will the marines allow me to achieve that goal?

One of the main arguments in regards to illegal immigration is that the illegal immigrants do the jobs that Americans simply will not due.

If the welfare system was restructured so that all able bodied citizens of this country were required to work in order to receive welfare benefits, wouldn't that cut down on the expense of our social service system and at the same time place US citizens in jobs currently being held by illegals?

If one is requesting welfare, they would be required to prove that they could not work. If someone is physically unable to work, they would continue to receive the benefits as they are.

However, if you could work, then you would be placed in a job that would fit your skills. If you have no job skills, you would be placed where needed. It would be a job and you would be doing your part to support your family.

Since these would still be low paying jobs, daycare would be subsidized, there would be transportation available to those who needed it and there would be tax breaks for the companies that are involved in this program. There would also be programs in place that would assist those that wanted to go to school.

There would no longer be any welfare available to those who can work just choose not to.

That would also decrease the need for unskilled labor from other countries.
