I'm sorry, but you are getting a ton of bad advice on this thread.
First off, if you are in the U.S. illegally and get married to a U.S. citizen, you will be able to adjust your status here in the U.S. There shouldn't be any reason for you to go back home.
Second, go and hire an immigration attorney. That person will be able to answer all your questions much better than someone on an online forum.

I work with immigrant women of DOmestic Violence, we deal with immigration all the time, your fiance can apply for a fiance visa for you. You have 6 months to get married after it is issued

If you had a k-1, and came to america to get married, but the time frame expired, you have to go back. Getting married to avoid being sent back won't work. They can refuse to let you stay here, citing fraud. You have to get another k-1 I suppose.
