If Congress had any REAL case against him, wouldn't he have been on trial for at least as long as everyone, outside of the government, has been whining for him to be?

There is nothing to impeach him for. The Democrats know that.
The Democrats were just trolling for ignorant & and gullible people to vote for them.
It worked.
But the Democrats lied to their voters.
(But the Democrat voters aren't smart enough to ever figure it out.)

Well, first of all, Bush had a majority of his party in both houses of Congress. Considering he stopped any serious investigation into the events of 9/11 which could have found evidence because of that majority, no effort could get off the ground.

There has to be real evidence to win a vote for Impeachment to begin with. Impeachment itself is futile if there is not enough evidence to convict. But the evidence is being accumulated. Whether it will be compelling enough to go ahead with Impeachment & trial is anyone's guess right now.

Another consideration. If Bush is impeached & convicted (meaning simply removed from office), Dick Cheney would become President. Even most neo cons don't want that. We need patience, but we still need to get the ball rolling.

Of the 11 9/11 Commission members, 8 call for re opening a truly independent inquiry. Check out the link below for details & decide what you will do next.

I think that at some point in George W. Bush's term everyone has questioned this. I think that there is no solid eveidence against him and Maybe him going into office wasn't a good idea to start with...or maybe people thought it was going to be better then it is. I cant tell you why Nothing has been done about it other then the people who seem to really bothered by it are the ones like us on Yahoo...Instead of the phone to the white house.

What are they going to impeach him for, being terribly unpopular?

The people who wish to see this president impeached are the same people who were screaming like babies because John Kerry didn't win.

In fact, I just read some of the BS on the impeachbush website-what a crock.
