Every industrialized nation has universal health care except the USA.
Our lack of universal healthcare is the primamry reason General Motors is building more and more of its vehicles in Canada. It's cheaper for them to pay taxes into the national healthcare system than to pay into the private, for-profit health care system.

Most westernised countries have some form of universal health care. Only U.S. and South Africa do not. Don't know about Switzerland.

not sure... it's not listed in wikipedia's list... but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it either... but there is a list
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publicly_funded_health_care#Countries_with_universal_health_care
it also gives you a decent introduction with pros and cons later in the page
but pretty much every other industrialized nation besides the U.S. has universal healthcare in some form... with the exception of Switzerland... to my knowledge

Cuba does. That's why they had to import a doctor to work on Castro, and bring equipment with him, in case he had to perform emergency surgery on him.
Good thing no one else in the country needs surgery.
