Come January, I am attending a convention/seminar of and for fashion designers, fashion merchandisers and retailers, garments and textile manufacturers, and companies and corporations engaging in the business of making and selling clothes. The topic that will be discussed is our role as makers of clothes and protectors of Mother Earth, and the way our line of business is affecting the onslaught of Global Warming.

I might want to raise some questions during this seminar.....what are good and relevant questions to ask that's in connection with my profession as a fashion designer?

Over the last year, and especially in the recent elections cycles, the Hollywood elite have become more vocal in espousing their opinions. They seem to believe that no matter what their opinion on various subject matters, that the masses should accept their words as gospel, rather than merely as opinion. In most cases, I have found this particular group to be short on fact, education and a firm grasp on reality.

So I want to know if you value the opinions of people like Sean Penn, George Clooney, or Julia Roberts (all of which are college dropouts) over those in your everyday life? If so, why?

Provide me with as much detail about what makes the Hollywood elite any more of a reliable source of information than those who exist in your everyday life.

Is there any alternative to being either a liberal or conservative?I don't like to be labeled a liberal or a conservative. I consider myself more in the middle. I am very opinionated, but I wouldn't want to be called a liberal or a conservative. Does anyone else feel the same?
Also, do you think people tend to listen to others without prejudice if they don't know what their political orientation is?

When my father died I had a note that I owed him but later I declared bankruptcy and he was listed as a creditor and the amount included the note. When he died, the family felt I still owed him the money even though legally I didn't. I was in a pschiatric hospital for months during that time and they bullied me into signing papers that said I still owed the money and so I lost $27000 of my inheritance. That was a little over 5 years ago. Can I still contest that?

Ok, I was at a major retailer(Hint: it rhymes with j-mart) and I was basically stopped when I was leaving and accused of shoplifting and I was even handcuffed. I didn't even take anything and they apologized but it was really embarrassing and I'm saying that it's reasonable grounds for a lawsuit and he's saying it's totally within their rights to do that. could I win a lawsuit or settlement from that? Also, the same guy approached my friend and told him he should just slip a fishing lure in his pocket can they do that?

I received a dishonorable discharge and my name is plastered all over the armed forces courts website. How can I get my record sealed and put the past behind me? Or at least get my name off of that site!

Is there something you can do if you order something off a website and they take money off your credit card but you never get the services you want? I didnt, and then I asked for a refund and got it. (supposedly) I have yet to recieve my refund and I have reciepts for both the buying and the credit given back. Its been almost a week now. This is the site.
