You've asked the question wrongly, it implies a negative answer. So you're gonna get what you ask for.

But liberty and self-autonomy and freedoms are basic human rights (endowed by our Creator), that all people yearn for. No real democracy type nation has every been over-thrown. Is this something good for all nations and their citizenry?

After WW2 we made Japan disolve it's monarchy, and we 'forced' democracy on Japan in 1945. We're we 'wrong'?

Your logic is poor on this question.

A forced democracy will only work so long as the "forcer" keeps their people in power. Then it's no longer a true democracy, is it?

Once the people start voting and passing their own laws...They can set up any kind of government they want. Just look at Iran, Lebanon, and the Palestinians. All 3 voted in "known terrorist supporters", a true example of democracy at work, in a bad way.

I understand where you come from with this question. But in all honesty, we must push for a democracy in Iraq, to fill the void we created, otherwise, it will be total anarchy for several years. Or at least until someone with the vision and support can overthrow the outlaws who will surely rush in to fill the current void.

Democracy, by definition, cannot be forced on people .... then it wouldn't be a democracy. Iraq, Iran, whatever. If we feel that threatened, we can destroy thier countries infrastructure and leave ... no rebuilding. We should attack out of defenxe, and defense of our allies only. And attack with the ferocity of the great Khans. Or as Teddy said, "Walk quietly and carry a big stick". This goes for people today that don't like the Second Amendment, or any other of our rights ...one of our founding fathers said that if you are willing to give up some freedom for security, you deserve niether. Pretty strong words from one of the old guys.

The only time any country should insist on a person or persons accepting their form of democracy is when those persons or person is choosing to become a citizen of the said country otherwise it would be wiser to offer suggestions or guidelines. Many of us here in Australia feel that our government is trying to force the American form of democracy on us even if that is not so. Different countries have different cultures and a lot of times these seemingly small things to another government are over looked causing future unrest and disquiet.

Democracy is not amenable to all countries particularly in Iraq where its system cannot fit to a die-hard religious Islamic people.

WHY NOT, Americas been doing it for years, American Indians, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan versus the Russians and now Iraq. Just remember that it was America who supplied and trained Osama Bin Laden to fight against the USSR conflict in Afghanistan. If I am correct USA left Afghanistan all alone to fend for themselves against the Russians.
Maybe you should ask an Iraqi citizen who has just had half his family killed by an American bombardment.

No. I think you should encourage them to blow more people up and grow more biological weapons to kill more people out there in the desert with. Of course, it probably is better than the communism that's been forced on us here.
