Oh such a good question...Yet a tough one as the issues that our forefathers might take issue with are many. At the root of the problem, the relationship of money and lobbyist influence on political candidates. This contradicts the essence of representing the people. "By the People" and "For the People" becomes diluted.
I think the forefathers would be fascinated by the advances in technology. The space program, digital technology, military equipment, jumbo jets, automobiles, an individual's access to information. etc....
I think the forefathers might be disappointed in the pitfalls of consumerism. i.e. the degradation of the environment, chronic obesity, etc.
there are so many more.......

No, I think our founding fathers would be shocked to see the state of affairs in America. They would be embarrassed to see that the right to free speech has been stretched to cover pornopraphers and flag burners. That our right to bar arms has been stretched to include Uzis and AK 47s. They would be shocked to find that the seperation of church and state was to include banning school prayers and the pledge of alliegance but would allow Pat Robertson to run for President. I think our founding fathers would be saddened to see the state of affairs when it comes to education (or the lack there of) and the lack of health care for all Americans. They would be shocked to see how we closed our borders to immigration and that the words inscribed on the Staute of Liberty no longer rang true. The list goes on and on, but I cannot imagine our founding fathers being proud of what we've become.

No. They would criticize corruption among public servants. They would say the Constitution is working for us, but needs our faith and support to protect it's power. They would say we need to work on eliminating poverty, and they would not like our extreme waste and pollution

Not at all. There is way too much social engineering. Too much power with the government. Way too many frivilous lawsuits.

Basic rights are good but when only given to those who can afford lawyers it becomes a joke. Similar to what they experienced from the English.

That we need to be more concerned with the needs of our citizens.

They'd be upset over religion being too strong in state matters and the president trying to grab power to upset the balance between the legislators and judiciary.
