Ran across this article and thought it presented a very interesting, valid question.

"In a hearing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York on Wednesday, a panel of judges pressed the government on why certain words should be considered indecent in an awards show broadcast, but not in other circumstances such as news programs."

I could tell that Ronald Reagan Loved our country. I thought he made some bad mistakes and I disagreed with much of what he did but I could tell.
Can we tell that Bush is simply an overprivleged lazy rich kid who cant understand America and cant love America the way our
leaders need to?

like the Catholics used to have?

Subsidized by the churches, the tuition can be low & scholarships can be offered. Teachers can add religion to every subject if they want! Why isn't there a movement to start a large Christian school system?

"The Pledge of Allegiance may be made part of the curriculum of the public schools."
"No student can be compelled to join in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance if he or his parents object, on religious or philosophical grounds, to his participating in such an exercise."
"The School should not subject the dissenting student to any unfavorable comment or stigmatizing treatment."
"The non-participating student will be required to refrain from any activity that disrupts or distracts those making the Pledge."
"All students can be required to learn the Pledge of Allegiance."

is this still correct?
my history teacher jumped all over me about not standing for it, and said it is VA state law that u have to (unless for religious reasons). he asked me if it was for religious reasons, and I said yes, then he quickly asked what religion I was, I answered "well, Im not really part of a religion..." he cut me off and said "then u have to."
I'm so pissed off!
