It is one thing to have an opinion, but to openly insult and "make fun of " a man who is doing the hardest job in the world is another. If you people want to insult him, i think that you should go and run for office yourself. Apparently you think you can do a better job.

Hilary Clinton said given what she knows now she wouldn't have voted for the war. Hindsight is 20/20. She didn't say what she would have done, but apparently conservatives take issue with her statement. They say she is trying to distance herself from her vote to enhance her presidential run.

Come on, many people given perfect information would do things differently. Yet the conservatives make it sound as though Bush can't change his mind. He has to be strong and stick with his decision. That to a certain degree is true. But this is a hypothetical. Would he handle the Iraq situation differently if he had better information? I would hope so (because this hasn't gone so well).

So can't we accept what politicians say at times or do you feel that they always have some ulterior motive?

I repeatedly see messages from people who say they expect America to have another civil war if things keep going the way they are.

My question is..how would a civil war take place? Not North against South. Things are much different now, and that just isn't going to happen. Republicans against Democrats? Ok, that would be total chaos because there would be no front line due to the politically mixed areas we all live in. it would be more like a Low Intensity Conflict with random acts of violence directed against others who you believed (emphasis on believed) belonged to another political party than you.

Or would it be racial divided?

I know, my question is pretty stupid, but I'm kinda curious how everyone thinks a civil war would go. I don't really care who you think would win or lose, just who would fight who and for what reason.

What can is say..it's winter break and it only cost me 5 points to ask a question :)

Possible this could bring home everyone sooner, rather that beating around the BUSH, go in with unrelenting FORCE and clean house, then leave a few there to help the IRAQI ARMY until they don't need it any more? if we pull out won't we create a breeding ground for Al Queda groups?

Seriously, what is Bush thinking. It was four years ago that they suggested sending a larger force to Iraq. He screwed it up.

Time to cut the losses and get out!

Has Bush been right about anything to do with Iraq? What makes him think he's right this time?

I don't mean the War of Independence (there was no real USA then) and I don't mean the Cold War (a major achievement it has to be said but no real military combat) I mean a proper normal war they have won and UN peace keeping doesn't count either.

I have a friend(A) whom shared a house with her sister's inlaw(B). B called the police on A, stating that A is endangering B's son by leaving knives in the dishwasher. While A never left the dishwasher open without supervision. A believed that it was also her house and that she had a right to do what she wanted as long as no one got hurt. These 2 people hate each other. And the sister in law was just using the excuse to get A in trouble. Nothing happened to A because there was no harm done, no proven criminal intent. Is B's action considered defamation of character? Is there anything A can do legally to protect herself against false police call? Are people allowed to make as many complaints as they want without solid evidence? Thanks for replying
