It is one thing to have an opinion, but to openly insult and "make fun of " a man who is doing the hardest job in the world is another. If you people want to insult him, i think that you should go and run for office yourself. Apparently you think you can do a better job.

I agree with you. The Office Of the President deserves respect no matter how much one may disagree with his policies, to ridicule and comparing President Bush with Hitler is outrageous and must stop. President Bush is facing a military disaster and needs support from every American Citizen no matter what party affiliation.

I think that when someone decides to run for the position as most powerful person on the planet, they sign up for every insult that can be hurled at them. Sure, most of the insults are out of spite, and accomplish nothing, and we would be better off if people could make the whole political sphere less charged so that we could actually discuss possible solutions to the problems facing this nation. But hey, everyone is free to do what they want, and that includes taking pot-shots at the current King. When someone comes into office who you greatly disagree with, you may be doing the same thing.

Anyone probably could do a better a job.

In pre-2003 Iraq, it was illegal to insult the president. Same with many countries. In fact, it used to be treason to insult the king and you could be executed for it.

Thankfully, we have grown up since then. Well, some of us haven't yet, but we have hope for you.

And really love all of the people who claimed they disliked Clinton but would have never dreamed of disrespecting him. That is the most insane history re-write I have ever heard. 1993 until today has been one big hate-on-Clinton-fest, and all of you conservatives played along. As for assassination, I offer Ann Coulter has just one example. Could y'all try to project less?

I voted for the man, so I feel entitled to state my opinion. I mean the whole freedom of speech thing....and as for running myself. You have to be at least 35, I'm not there yet. The man is an idiot and the only reason he was re-elected was because Kerry was a bigger idiot. I give respect where it is due and he ain't due. Lastly, FYI, the hardest job in the world is being a mother. Bush isn't packing his drunken twins off to war, but my mom is sending two kids. Who do you think is sleeping better at night?

I absolutely agree with you. If you don't like something, you have the power to change it. Wake up America. We need to realize how hard it is to be presidnet. It is a stressful job that is virtually worked 24/7/365. The president doesn't get paid nearly enough for the things that she/ he has to do. Quit insulting the president and stand beside him. This is one of the things America can do to help make opur country better. DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE!

You make it sound like he is the first president to fall victim of satire. George Washington had the John Stewart of the day making fun of his wooden teeth.
No, I don't think that I could do a better job but there are a hell of a lot of men and women who could. You don't have to be a professional quarterback to be able to tell when one is screwing losing the game for your team.

I don't like insults either, whether directed at political figures or other posters.

That's why I have to ignore many of the questions here.

People have a right to criticize, and have a lot to be angry about.

But a question that starts off with "why is Bush a moron" or "why are liberals brain-dead" or some similar idiocy is just not worth my time.

Yes, I am. I am sick of people calling him "stupid" when he is clearly not. Bush is a businessman, he has bee trained to make people believe what he wants. He is an Ivy League Graduate from New Haven, Connecticut, and History as proven people don't like those kinds of Presidents. So, he pretends to be a simple man from Texas. And because people believe his fake "built my own log cabin" story over Kerry's, he was elected.

People who think Bush as stupid have been duped into believe just what he wants them too.

Anybody off the street could have done a better job! It's like having a Monkey in office! Don't tell me you believed we were winning the war? Don't tell me you believe why we went to war? THERE IS A BOLD FACED LIAR IN OFFICE AND YOU DON'T THINK WE SHOULD COMPLAIN! HE'S A BUFFOON AND YOU DON'T THINK WE SHOULD MAKE FUN OF HIM! HE'S SO STUPID IT GUT BUSTING!!! Yes it should be the hardest job in the world, but when all you care about is making yourself and your cronie friends rich, at the expense of America and Iraq then you deserve what you get, but he's not getting what he deserves, DEATH!
