After listening to him today, and if that guy really believes that this last election was a mandate to a 'change in Iraq' strategy. Then that is one clueless hombre......clueless..........KALUELESS....and in conclusion.....that is one clueless Texan........ did I mention he was absolutely clueless? Not even a hint of a clue, not one morsel, nary a speck...........his supporters? Clueless, not a remote whiff of a clue.....etc. etc. etc.

Remember Sept. 11th. 2001? World Trade Center? The Pentagon? Flight 93? 3000 people killed in one day? Any of that ring a bell?
Odd, but Congress sure listened to him when he wanted to send troops to Iraq to get the terrorists. Now everyone has flip-flopped and pretended like he went against Congress and is just a loose cannon.

I guess most of the Americans realized the reelection of a complete moron who cant even speak proper English was a complete and utter mistake. So much lies by everyone in his administration that you really doubt if Bush works for the Americans or all the way around. I will tell you one thing, congress has had it's first turn around to democrat power ever. let's hope its for the best and do no t support any more republicans like this capitalist pig, so many brave soldiers dead because of his personal interests... sad really.
e.g. search youtube.com for : drunk Bush

the democrats in congress could if they would just get their **** together... if they took his tax cuts and deficit spending hostage by refusing to pass the budget as Bush wants it, they could force him to start using a reasonable strategy in Iraq.
Jim, the Iraq Study Group report actually recommends that a surge of troops be sent to stabilize Baghdad. I disagree and don't think it would work, but just wanted to point out that it is something they ask in the report. The press has done a poor job of summarizing the report, you have to read it for yourself to see just how quick and shoddy it was written, and to get an idea of what they're trying to get across (mainly that we should cast the blame on the Iraqis and put the solution on the shoulders of neighboring countries)

I stopped listening to Bush after the " mission accomplished" debacle. Now I just shake my head in mock amusement of his falied foreign policy in Iraq.

We have to pressure congress. They got voted in because the Americans wanted an alternative to the way things were going. Now the people have to hold them accountable to enact meaningful change. Left alone they really wont accomplish much. It will take civil organizing and pressure.

Derek the D. Still silly after all these years.
Approval ratings are only important to Liberal Presidents. They need to know what to do next. Republicans know what to do without polls.

Bush The Arrogant listens to no one !! Despite a 70% disapproval rating, the Democrats and even some Republicans telling him to get us out of Iraq and the Iraq Study Group (ISG) telling him we can't win and get out...what does he do? He wants to send more troops to Iraq...Unbeleivable !! (The Democrats will reign him in when they impeach him !)

Bush is the president. He has the authority & responsibility of that office. There is nothing in the constitution about poll numbers.
