I just graduated college and have a degree in Business Management. Also, I'm a former White House intern who was interested in studying political science and becoming a politician, but now, I want to be a bodyguard for the President. What are the procedures? What do they look for in a person? How would I qualify?

Last night, I received a speeding ticket outside of Syracuse. The ticket is for 91 in a 65. However, I do not think I was going this fast. It was very dark out, there was alot of traffic, and I was in the middle lane in a pack of probably forty cars. However, I do drive a bright red car, and that may have been why I got pulled over. I do not want points on my license, or a moving violation, and I do want to dispute the ticket. I dont know if I should contact the court beforehand and see if I can take defensive driving, if I should go to court and hope the officer does not show up, or if I should go and try to have it reduced! Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Regardless, of what you may believe...there are A LOT of people who feel that their are some/many unanswered questions about 9/11. Apparently there were 3 cameras that caught in on tape, onr from the Sheraton hotel, one from a gas station, and one on the highway. Wouldn't Bush like to shut up the conspiracy theorists...and if he has the opportunity, why doesn't he? What is the point of not releasing them?

I can't help but notice that many people believe that African Americans when they are heavy populated in an area crime is common? I know plenty of areas where the people are doctors (and other educated elite), well respected hardworking people! I mean what about the trailer parks in the south and southwest? Are those now considered 5th Avenue?

For the record I dont believe in Affirmative Action or where anybody has to be cradled, but please! this is not 1967, its about to be 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's say a soldier receives an order from someone in his NCO support channel who outranks him. Then let's say the soldier receives a contradictory order from someone who outranks him, but isn't even in his NCO support channel or chain of command. Should the soldier obey his NCO support channel or the most recent order? Why does "leadership" get away with messing with soldiers like this? Isn't the whole idea of the NCO support channel to make sure soldiers only have one boss?

Act On Immigration Now

The well-publicized immigration raid on the Swift and Co. meatpacking plant in Cactus serves as a troubling reminder that our immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed.

Texas businesses want and need to follow the law. Unfortunately, they lack a sensible and reliable system to verify an employee’s legal status.

Employers are forced to navigate tricky waters each time they make a hire.

Texas businesses must deal with complex immigration regulations; a glut of seemingly valid, but sometimes counterfeit, worker identification documents; and the threat of discrimination lawsuits if they ask the “wrong” questions about employees’ documents.

Enforcement alone will not fix our immigration system, and it has failed in the past. We can’t just build walls around a broken system — we need to fix it to make sure we achieve real security, restore law and order and have enough workers to continue growing our economy.

It is time for a serious solution to this serious challenge. It is time for Congress to act.

Bill Hammond
president, Texas Association of Business
Austin

Among many obvious flaws, one of the Army's flaws is that the PT uniform doesn't have rank on it. People in the Army are supposed to address each other various ways based on their rank (sir, sergeant, first sergeant...) but how can you do that if you don't even know what their rank is? The higher ranking people act like you're supposed to be psychic and just magically know their rank or something. Isn't this a perfect example of how the Army tells its soldiers to do something but pretty much makes it impossible for them to actually do it?

President Clinton was on the line of being impeached for having sexual relations w/someone and lying about it. Yet, George Bush has had this country in war, killing all of our troops, showed no love to the people in New Orleans, had something to do with the 9/11 attacks and is lying to our country about everything................but he's still our president.

I actually believe that the holocaust did take place and that 6 million jews were murdered; but I think it is hypocritical to make holocaust denial illegal, as it is in some European countries. In a free democratic world people should be able to believe in what they want. We can deny religion so why is the holocaust 'un-touchable'?
