We are at war with islamo-Fascism, people who want to kill as many Americans that they can and this has been going on since 1979 and now we have a President who is standing up to these SOBs and all you people do is bash him for doing what clinton and the appeasement party refused to do when they was in power.

Because none of the stories you put down here make sense. None of them are legitimate Military Questions. You've basically attempted to hijack this section for your political views, or worse, pass your attempts at fiction off as real life stories. Where you should really be posting is in the Political section, or on a blog where people are free to ignore your corner of cyberspace. What business would you have interferring with the free will of an 18-year old anyways? It's an all-volunteer military. Why is it "Thank you! I want my son t fight for Bush"? Because we swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Presidents come and go, just like any other politician. It's not like you have a long line of supporters here; the vast majority of respondents to your spurious pseudo-Questions hold you in complete and total contempt. If they are war supporters, it's fairly obvious why. If I was an antiwar activist, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with you. Maybe if you stopped grandstanding, you would retain some dignity, but you've more or less abandoned even a shred of that. It's not that you're hated per se, you're in the same category as panhandlers who claim they have HIV/AIDS and those who carry placards stating "The world will end tomorrow". You're not helping anybody, least of all yourself. You should seek some sort of counseling, perhaps. In all seriousness, that could help. If not, there's no cracking you out of your fantasies except yourself.

Being a cowardly deserter, Bush naturally wouldn't have the same clear perspective on the issue that a decorated soldier like yourself or John Kerry would.
But the answer is the jihadists. Or is it the islamo-fascists? Or maybe the "enemies of the legitimate government in Iraq"? Possibly the insurgents. Must be Iranian interventionists. Definitely the hardcore Baathists.
There's probably some dead-enders in there too.

As a decorated Marine Desert Storm vet, I can tell you with assurance who knows the answer to this question.
The Taliban for one, you remember those guys in Afghanistan who had their asses handed to them within 60 days. As a decorated soldier like yourself knows, this was a feat the Soviets couldn't accomplish after fighting for 10 YEARS.
I'm pretty sure the insurgents in Iraq know the answer to this question, especially considering that thus far, we have taken out over 55000 of them to date. Surprisingly, the media is so attracted to our casualty rate, they neglect to tell America the score for the other side. Hmmm, I wonder why...
I'll tell you with certainty, Libya knows who we are warring with. You'll recall they disclosed their nuclear secrets, before we had to perform a Reagan feat and drop a few more bombs on their sorry butts again.
Do I really need to go on John Kerry, or is it getting clearer for you now?

Those would be the Islamist Fascists.
It tooks hours of careful planning to come up with that after people were tired of hearing "the terrorists". The sheeple needed a more narrow definition of our enemies since OSAMA BIN LADEN was just too specific.
don't people get tired of asking the same tired, irrelevant questions?
Shouldn't we be asking WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT MONITORING MY PHONE CALLS? Why am I afraid to speak my mind and voice my opinion in public about the current state of affairs in my country? Why do I fear my government? What happenend to those 6 microbiologists in October, November and December of 2001? They just up and died or disappeared. Nobody's talking about the REAL ISSUES. If and when they do, they are called Conspiracy theorists or Wackos or called other names to demean their credibility.

I highly doubt a decorated solider would come into yahoo questions and spout off rhetoric...Being a 'decorated' Marine myself...I know and so should you. BTW...what are you decorated for...what was/is your MOS...CO...etc...don't pretend to be someone you're not.

As a decorated soldier, do you really have to ask? No disrespect intended, really, just seems like an odd question from a decorated soldier.
Bush knows we're at war with Islamic fanatics who believe we should all convert or die.

Socrates is quoted as saying "all wars are fought for money". I will defer to his expertise. With this in mind, he is fighting anyone standing in the way.
