You don't get a month in tent city for just 1 DUI, your "friend", which I am sure is you, will be okay in tent city, as long as you join a gang. There is no *** raping in tent city, I know 3 people out there right now.

I saw a documentary on this. The conditions are not as cozy as in regular facilities. None of the comforts of the prisons where there is a workout room, TV, movies, phones, etc. Just a tent where they are in the desert where it is very hot.

I was in Tent City at James A Muzak. It's kewl. If he minds his own business. You can't really send anything. If you want him to have something, I think you can have it drop shipped form a store. I woudn't suggest clothes or anything. Just books.

If you need to send him something else, call before sending.

I have never been there but had read up on it quite a bit. It is the greatest thing since PB&J. It is about time that someone in LE saw jail for what it should be - a hell hole. If you don't like it, don't go back. It is that simple.

It is hot, humid, lots of ants, no cable TV. Food sucks, work details are actually work and not just a thing to pass the time.
