The third degree torture of the police to confess the accused should be strongly condemned. Thats why the confession made before the police is not valid in the Criminal law. The confession is valid when done before a Magistrate. If the confession before the police is allowed then the police will choose its victims and all innocent cases will get convicted. This amounts the grave miscarriage of justice.
