When you are at MEPS and you sign your contract, does it state your job in the contract? I also heard that you pick 3 or 4 jobs that you like and they choose the one they want you to have. Is this true?

In their sick delusional brains, Ted Kennedy was having sex with Mary Jo Kopechne. No evidence for this, just conjecture.

In their pusillanimous uncharitable brains, she was pregnant with his bastard liberal child. No evidence for this.

In thier lunatic brains, he came up with a brilliant scheme to cover up the problem by staging a deliberate car accident. One that put his own life at risk? Really?

Right wingers are not only insane, but slanderous. Unless you have any concrete evidence of these fantastical charges, SHUT THE HELL UP!

2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers allowed.
3. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, all government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
5. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question--I'm really asking in earnest.

Do you have to wear your uniform to the Marine Corps birthday ball? Could an active duty male Marine wear a tuxedo or something similarly formal? Could a female Marine wear a ball gown?

I'm not saying they'd necessarily want to, but could they if they did want to?

Thanksgiving or Christmas at work because it offends a certain person at work who is also a homosexual. Now if we should tolerate his belief by not praying, than should he tolerate our belief by quitting his job since homosexuals are considered unnatural and have no place in society and on the work room floor. What is your view about about this topic?

My neighbor's son just turned 18. I've known the boy since he was about 7. He only has a dad at home (mom is out of the picture, so to speak). The boy is totally out of control & every time he does something horrible, the dad gets angry & then the kid is out driving around the next day. Well, for about the last 5 or 6 months, there are kids over there every single day after school (dad's at work). I don't mean 1 or 2 friends, more like 6+. And then there are the ones who just come for a few minutes and leave. So... I think he's selling drugs, and I would call the police, but they're not noisy, I'm just suspicious. My neighborhood is full of young kids, and I know these teens are over there drinking in the afternoon & then they hop in their cars and leave. I honestly don't want to be the *********.y. neighbor, but I'm getting concerned. If I called the police, is what would I tell them ... "I think something's going on?" That sounds stupid.

You know what? I'm not going to say it. Why should I? It's my right to freedom of speech. They can't make me. And why do we say it anyway? To be 'patriotic'??? It's patriotic if you say it on your own terms. If they make you, is it not propaganda? And don't say that I'm lucky to be in a country where I do have rights like this, etc. I can name at least 10 countries that have the same rights that we do. That's what I'm saying. I could go on for hours, but here comes my question:

Could I really get in trouble for not saying it? Simply because I broke a rule? Martin Luther King broke rules he felt were unjust, and look what happened. Everything changed. I know, saying the pledge is completely different from civil rights. But really. I don't think I should obey a rule that violates my natural rights.

Please don't yell at me if you disagree. Just answer if you know. If you don't, just answer another question.

To pro-lifers, do you raise your children to feel the same way you do about abortion? Or do you let them make up their mind later on in life? To pro-choicers, do influence your children in your beliefs about abortion? Or will you let them make up their own mind? I know that raising children means teaching them your beliefs but to what extent would you go about abortion?

with their freedom? Only the government can threaten your freedom. Is al qeda trying to abolish the Bill of Rights? Sure they can threaten your life, but how are they threatening your freedom? (except your freedom to live, that is)

And while we're at it, why do people think that we are fighting 'them' over there so that we won't have to fight 'them' over here? At least 90% of the people that we fight over there are insurgents (Iraqi rebels). Foreign fighters are a small minority of the opposing forces, and most of them only joined the fight BECAUSE we invaded Iraq. If it wasn't for the invasion, they'd still be herding goats in Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc. Now they are killing Americans and Iraqis. How does this mesh with the 'fighting them over there' theory.

Do supporters of the war realise the fallicy of their logic, or do they just not care? Did you fall for a political slogan, or did you really put some reasoned analysis into forming your opinion?
