Hey, good luck over in Afganistan.
Don't concentrate on the anti-war idiots. Their hatred of the military, and subsequent speech, is a right granted by selfless patriots like yourself.
Our family served 3 generations in wars, and it's a safe bet to say that we're all proud of you, and appreciate your contribution.
But we're there in spirit with you. Mid 30-something family.
I hope when you come back, you can publicly debunk some of the asshattery expressed by "concerned peaceniks".

I am retired military. Served in Iraq.
Middle class, living in California.
I have a friend who volunteered for a second tour in Afghanistan.
I support the war because at the moment we are the only hope the people of Iraq and Afghanistan have for a better future.

Well, I'm against the war now and I'm retired from DOD. ( 6 years in the military and 24 in DOD) I'm 59, Male and I make 75,000 a year total. ( Not counting wife's income. She makes 36,000 a year.) I own my own business now. I voted against the war. ( That is those who will pull the troops out ) Religion? None. I believe nature is god. Don't get killed because you will have did for nothing.
