Unfortunately not. The last known Civil War veteran to die is widely accepted to be Albert Woolson, who died August 2,1956 at 109 years old. It is extremely unlikely that anyone who was even alive during the civil war is still alive. The war began in 1861 and ended in 1865. That would mean that a baby born on the last day of the war would now be 141 years old.
Here is a good article on the civil war to get you started.

I believe that the oldest living person (to that point!) just passed away in Asia, at about 118 years old. Old enough to be a child of a Civil War Veteran, possibly...

Civil War lasted 1861-1865. That's 141 years. Figure at least 10 (very young) to join the army... that would make this person 151. Oldest people alive usually run 120-110.

No I believe there is one Civil war widow still receiving benefits from Alabama I think. Just think how long we will be paying benefits for the Vietnam, Gulf and Iraqi Wars.

There are none. However, the spouse of a Civil War soldier just recently passed away. She was much younger than he. There are only about a dozen WW1 soldiers still alive.

motives given for partaking in such events variety. some contributors have an interest in getting a historic attitude on the turbulent circumstances that gripped the rustic, fairly in the event that they are able to hint their ancestry decrease back to those that fought in the conflict. Others participate purely for the escapism that such events furnish. some commentators have suggested that Southerners are attracted to those events for political motives, because of the fact they symbolize a rejection of the North. usually, although, this would be a pretend stereotype. in actuality, some are Northerners that would have been "sympathetic" to the Southerners, who usually are out-numbered in events in the North. in specific circumstances, if there are no longer sufficient Union infantrymen cutting-edge, accomplice infantrymen are asked to alter factors, or exchange into galvanized yankees, for the day/adventure.

The last widow (a young women in the 1920's who married an old Civil War soldier) just died in 2005. There are no more widows. Their husbands died decades ago.

Yes indeed, there are four known survivors of the American civil war. The most prominent is Corporel H. Dean from the 7th Vermont calvary. He has been giving speeches recently around the country, but beware he is very senile, and doesn't speak the truth.
