There is nothing we can do about Iran any more than we can do anything about North Korea, or Afghanistan, or Iraq. We have no friends and no credibility because Bush has involved us in an illegal and immoral war and trashed America’s honor and dignity by preaching peace but practicing murder, destruction, and torture.

And if that were not bad enough, those who wish us harm (i.e., the terrorists who Bush has made larger, stronger, and more popular) have seen us fail miserably in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Shock-an-Awe brought nothing but a big yawn. Even the Iraqis do not understand how a country as large and powerful as the US cannot control a tiny, insignificant country like Iraq.

The leaders of North Korea, Iran, and other countries now just punk Bush to his face for fun because they enjoy making a fool out of him. Bush talks all kinds of trash but has responded like a 99-pound weakling. But then, we knew he was a coward based on his avoidance of Vietnam. Every time Bin-laden farts, Bush starts running around like a clown yelling “terror alert, terror alert! How can we expect people to respect us when our leader is a chickensh!t baby – and we re-elected him even after everyone in the world knew what a loser he is?

The Iranian president has no power in the government, whatsoever. He is a figurehead only. It doesn't matter what he says, he can't do anything.

That being said, if I were Iranian and had American troops occupying the countries that surround me, with Bush talking trash about me, I would want a nuke, too. Iran has never attacked another country since its current incarnation (1979). Iran was in the process of dismantling its military when the US encouraged Saddam to invade it. We also gave Saddam the chemical weapons that he used against the Iranians. Now we are in Iraq and talkin' smack about Iran.

Do they have a reason to be nervous? You bet. Do they have a need for an ultimate deterrent? Sure. Does America have to worry about Iranian agression? Absolutely not. These people have enough trouble staying in power as it is. They don't need a self-inflicted wound to threaten the regime. They'd rather stand on the sidelines and call us names.

If we leave Iraq, then we take the wind out of Iran's sails with respect to goading us. They might interject themselves into Iraqi politics, but they won't harm us.

Iran would probably feel less threatened if the U.S. did pull out but american interests aren't the only ones in the region. If america pulled out the United Nations would continue to pressure iran since the U.S. holds a seat on the U.N. security council.

Iran will finish the bomb either way. The real plan by Bush is to remove the national barriers with Mexico, expect to see l loss of interest in Iraq when that begins to happen.

Iran is no threat to us. We have no right to limit other countries in their development of what we developed and used in war! Saudi Arabia is a threat to us, they already sponcered the 9/11 attacks and we hold their hands!

This is a big concern of mine. If our nation is war-weary, what is to be done about those who wish to pick over the spoils of war?

Russia is openly selling Iran missiles. Iran must be stopped.
