Public service for ALL graduates, whether from medical or any other school, would be for the good of the country. There are many people who can not afford medical services, dental services, ophthomological services, legal services, etc. and for recent graduates to serve poor people in these areas, would have benefits for both sides. The graduates would have the chance to practise their skills and the very special experience of dealing with real people in real situations. The people who could not otherwise afford these services would be given medical, dental and ophthomological care, or legal services, which could literally save lives or change their lives, and their children's lives, for the better.

It's an interesting discussion. Hope this helps.
