a friend of mine (women 58yrsold) was arrested in minnasota, she was driving the car that had the meth in it , but didnt know it! thought she was going there to pick up a person and bring them back to tex,a mexican imigrant and was arrested for transporting drugs, she has no prior arrests or ever been in trouble before, she was offerd alot of money to drive there and pick this person or persons and drive them back

An adult her age knew the scam when she agreed on the money. She needs a great lawyer to work on her case or she will do time, and that's not easy for a gal her age. Her lawyer should be able to get her off of the intent to sell. She needs to stay away from drug traffickers or she could end up dead. The immigrant could have killed her at the border and stolen her car for a ride into Mexico. You can be her friend but you need to keep out of the drug trade.

this is a prison term
it is a good lesson to learn who your associated with before you do anyone any favors....

Depend upon the weight. But keep in mind they can go Federal and it becomes a much bigger deal.
