3000 - 4000 people died on 9/11 we've killed between 43,000 and 48,000 Iraqis in the years since, that's not including our other wars, or the almost 3000 American soldiers. Soon more Americans will have died for 9/11 then actually died on 9/11. Doesn't seem worth it to me. Who are the terrorists again? I can think of one that lives in a big white house.

Remember Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

Also remember that your chances of dying in a terrorist attack on US soil are absurdly low. You have a much much better chance of dying choking on a piece of meat or slipping in the shower, or smoking cigarettes or driving a car.

Are they not working for us and impose these regulations on the working class but we have people like Ted Kennedy that can go on the floor of the Senate drunk and get away with it?And these are the people that are making laws etc for the good of the people? How can we get that started? They are worried about steroid testing with athletes as well. Thanks for all for the input and I would really like to get that started..,they have banned smoking and yet they still smoke on the senate floor?Tired of the double standards they impose on us.

They may be illegal but they have shored up social security with funds the US fails to advise you of. Most of these workers will never collect a penny in social security benefits

Seven million undocumented workers in the U. S. pay $7 BILLION annually into Social Security. The common yap on the street characterizes Mexican immigrants as people who take advantage of the system here & return nothing in the process. Leaving aside for now the matter of billions paid in sales taxes across the nation, since the late 1980s when the system began receiving millions of obviously bogus W-2 earnings statements, complete with fake SS numbers, it began holding them in what is called a "earnings suspense file." During the 1990s, $189 billion in wages ended up in this file. In our current decade the file is growing at a rate of over $50 billion annually. In 2002, nine MILLION W-2s with incorrect numbers were filed away accounting for 1.5% of total reported earnings for the entire nation

With the widespread use of electronic voting, vote fraud and fraudulent elections will increase. The repubs will not go quietly into the night. It's going to take armed insurrection to pry them out now that they have control. We need massive voting and election reform. We need term limits not just for individuals but for political parties as well! We need campaign spending limits and full discloser where the money is coming from and especially no corporate donations not even indirectly! We need to see the money trail before and after the election to know who is beholden to whom and for how much!

If a person if certifiably disabled and unable to provide a life for themselves then I can understand the purpose of carrying them. And they should have no problem admitting to a test. But let's be realistic. How many of us know someone who is milking the government and us? I don't appreciate busting my hump so someone else can sit home on theirs smoking dope.

They are an isolationist country who's people are already literally starving to death.
This will only make them more desperate and make the people suffer longer and worse than they already have.

To North Koreans, since if you are not in the military or military family, you starve to death?

Why not have the North Koreans enjoy the freedom and prosperity that South Koreans and Chinese are now enjoying?
Why should we allow the North Koreans to suffer any longer, THEY are the people who need to be liberated.
Why not make China do it?

I have always wondered about this, everytime someone brings up that hispanics have too many children but cant afford them the first thing that comes out of peoples mouth 's for justification is that they are Catholic and dont believe in birth control, but there are many Catholics out there who dont have lots of children without having the money to afford them. So trully what is the reason for having so many children and not being able to afford them. Is that another method of getting money like welfare and WIC and things of that nature for children that are now citizens because they were born here? Please enlighten me!

My proposals is to allow mothers and fathers to decide on abortion. If a mother does not want the child, she can have an abortion while pregnant. Then, after the child is born, the father will have 9 months to decide whether he wants the baby to live. Equality of rights!

CARLSON: It goes deeper than that though. The deep truth is that the elites in the Republican Party have pure contempt for the evangelicals who put their party in power. Everybody in…

MATTHEWS: How do you know that? How do you know that?

CARLSON: Because I know them. Because I grew up with them. Because I live with them. They live on my street. Because I live in Washington, and I know that everybody in our world has contempt for the evangelicals. And the evangelicals know that, and they're beginning to learn that their own leaders sort of look askance at them and don't share their values.

MATTHEWS: So this gay marriage issue and other issues related to the gay lifestyle are simply tools to get elected?

CARLSON: That's exactly right. It's pandering to the base in the most cynical way, and the base is beginning to figure it out.
