the consequences of her actions, but we expect the men to?

Shouldn't it be equal rights? Why did women fight for so long for equal rights just to turn around now and want special treatment?

Amen nice to see theres another woman out here besides me that is not a feminist. It amazes me that women of today want to blame men for a relationship going down hill when all they want to do is complain that he doenst help with housework or he doesnt give me enough attention. As if the world is supposed to stop and revolve around them.We are here to take care of our men and show them we appreciate them and when we accomplish that..,they treat us like a queen.Great question and god love ya for it.

Since when can a women chose to ignore the consequences of her actions? I have never seen that, in all my years. Or, at least I should say, I've never seen gender make a difference. Income makes the biggest difference.

And yes, it should be equal rights. There is no reason anyone needs special treatment. Gender, race, disability, nothing makes a person deserve special treatment.

Indeed. A woman can choose not to have to live for 9 months with the consequences of her actions. But the man does not have any parallel right to 'abort' a rotten kid or evade monetary consequences for the next 18 YEARS! Huge discrepency there. Nothing equal about it!

Men and women will never be equal because they are so different. There is a huge double standard touted by the feminists and "equal rights" groups, just as there are blatant double standards regarding minorities. Men get the short end of the stick in most cases, especially white men.

Women have much tougher lives then most men, how many single mom's do you know saddled with kids while person who got them pregnant is ggone, gone, gone, whatever, women have maybe been given a few breaks in a few situations,...

Women and children got off the Titanic first.

Everyone lives with the consequences of their actions; in one way or another.

We always want special treatment. The answer lies deep in many other women who want to be nitpicky and want this and that and the other. We want so much, that we probably should'nt have to get. We are mayn times whiny, etc... Equality lies in a Fairytale. They fought for them to get more rights not equal rights.

That was the goal the whole time. I have a female coworker that actually said that women are more valuable than men. What is equality

Maybe you have the answer. Rapists could be required to may all of their victims medical bills, and then be required to raise and support the children that may result from the rape. Or all unwed fathers could be required to raise and support their children. I am sure men would want to do this.

Women do live with the consequences of their actions.

But I hate to tell you men and women are..... different.

There are different consequences - I'm guessing you're talking about pregnancy???
